Tbh it depends on where you are and the type of robbery or more so the force being used. If it’s armed robbery most of the time you’re entitled to defend yourself. There might be limited justification if some crazy bitch just grabs your wallet from your hand and you shoot them in the face. It’s all really case by case, but in some you can absolutely shoot them.

My wife and I were just talking about this, there’s plenty of people out there that are not racist, but you’ll still hear them say when describing a black person they like “He’s a nice guy” or “He’s not one of the bad ones.” like even they know there’s chances and pattern recognition. Look I’m sorry but if you’re walking down a street and you see two white guys in blue suits and name tags you’re thinking they’re jehovah witnesses, if you see a Hispanic person depending on environment you’re likely to think he’s there to work. If it’s 90 degrees outside and you see 3 or four young black males wearing those spandex hoods, you’re crossing the street or making your weapon easier to draw. It just is what it is, thinking otherwise may get you hurt or worse.

I was in a fairly upmarket supermarket I shop in the other day, was walking past this english guy who was questioning someone who was clearly an aylum seeker/illegal boat hopper that had landed in the UK.
