Get anything new recently? I’m an HK guy (5) but with Glock making their changes I just grabbed a G19. Got a proper angle reducing backstrap on it now and a Magwell will be here tomorrow.
Are you not a Glock guy, yet? When I got my first years ago the different angle was weird but after getting used to it I can go from Glock to a 2011 or anything without issue.
I’m liking it a lot after the backstrap piece came, the one in the pic is just a cut factory backstrap. I’ve sold or traded every Glock I’ve ever bought because I’d hoped the grip angle would grow on me, this new piece is a game changer. The HK angle is much more vertical. I always suggest to new shooters buying a firearm to present from their hip or low chest with closed eyes, aim where you feel like your target lines up, then open your eyes. Glocks are high every time.

Can say, when downrange and on convoys, I got to man the 50 cal machine gun up in the turret a handful of times. Absolutely badass, just tears anything in its way to shreds. The other convoys, mostly manned the 240.

Ofcourse you could, atleast in the free states. Protecting your life when threatened by others is a fundamental tenant of America. Although your response does need to be somewhere proportionate to the threat. If they have a gun you can shoot then, or a knife, and probably a bat. If they don’t appear to have a weapon then things get murky and you probably can’t shoot them. You must reasonably believe the person could cause you great bodily harm or worse, in which case you can respond with deadly force.
The issue is if this happens in a blue city within a free state there’s nothing to stop their DA from charging you and arresting you and making it into a multi year media spectacle until you’re hopefully acquitted by a jury of your peers. But many of us have concealed carry Insurance that pays for lawyers and bail and all that stuff if that ever happened.
If your state is red, probably good. If blue, you get some bs D.A and judges that hate white people gonna be an issue. DANIEL PENNY IS A HERO and they gave him hell

And that is a risk anywhere, even in reddest states if you have blue cities in them. Look what happened to the Mccloskey’s, they were in dark red Missouri but lived in St. Louis and got brought up on all kinds of bullshit charges because they prevented rioters from destroying their house and probably getting beat up, or worse. And they didn’t hurt anyone. Luckily the Republican governor pardoned them.
Thing is these situations probably all happen very fast and at night, I imagine in the heat of the moment it would be very easy to imagine they are armed even if they aren't and then you are fucked. How much does concealed carry insurance cost?
Ya man forsure, you never want to be in that situation. I try my best to avoid places or situations where something like that is more likely to occur. But if it ever does happen I’m prepared.
I think I pay $20 a month for it. It’s pretty reasonable imo for what it covers.
