StevebThe best one out of them all for sure. I saw the new and as far as action it was good. But they really dumbed it down way too much to appeal to kids. Like how people who have never used a light Saber just pick one up and are now masters at using them. And the heroes have no personality. You really don't care of they die or not. Han Solo was so popular because he was cool and said cool shit, his personality made you root for him. And the new villain is some nerd that no one in real life would be scared of.
I feel Disney had too much say in the making. They should have stuck to the book more.
I agree to a large extent. I cannot figure why they picked a villain that doesn't look like it could be at all possible to be Han and Leia's son. Also the complete recycle of A new Hope is weird, but it did all work. Hopefully Luke is not the new Yoda.
Abrams wasnt very creative like you said a new hope recycle describes it perfect but that being said it was still a ton fun

StevebThey should never have been made, they are 3 of the worst movies I have ever seen. People who really like Star Wars do not even like them. They are very goofy, childish, and have really shitty acting. Also they are 100% CGI and it feels like your watching someone play a video game the whole time. The only thing good about them is Darth Maul and they decided to kill off that charter way too soon in episode 1. Watch episodes 4 and up.

I've seen them all and own them all. Are some better then others? Sure. By far. But it is what it is a lot can be said about many movies. For example. Back when scarface first came out it flopped and it was considered horrible acting and even al Pacino said it was his worst acting but today its considered a great movie. A lot of CGI sure and it was early CGI which was garbage. Look at new CGI like the new jarassic park much better work. To me you cant really appreciate it all unless you see how far the series has come as a whole.
