I know double post whatever,.....
I liked sports better when everybody was all geared up. It was the last best thing in baseball it was the last time I actually watched it.
Now that is off my chest.
They are now picking at a few psi on a football? (That can change naturally with the ambient temperature?) What the hell? So the linemen didn't have anything to do with it? Or the receivers? Running backs?
I don't have a dog in the fight. I'm from Alabama and we are too caught up in collage to give a rats ass.
but a few psi on a football? When untestable designer anabolic steroids are popping up every day?
I call BS its just to keep the NFL in the news.
Soccer needs steroids

You play to win....
Every damn one of us are looking for an edge.
Seriously.... look at the site we are on....
damn guys...
If it was NASCAR, the team would have been banned from the Super Bowl, and Brady would have been suspended for at least a year. The team and Brady got off easy.
AnonHmm yea it was steep but he deserved it
Second time
Every qb likes there ball certain way its like sayin wops dont like pasta
Just had a very respectful PM come trough from Tren84. Thanks bro, water under the bridge my man. Let's move on.
Wops? You want to give me the definition of a wop Tren84?
Without papers italians bro u never knew that bout are garlic bros
I think it was a little steep BUT fair and in line with the other penalties that Rodger Godell has been dishing out. Can't play favorites when your in his roll so I have to at least give him credit for being consistent
Penalty was steep this time because this was their second offense for what is considered cheating by NFL standards. Yes... There is no doubt that every team is probably doing something they shouldn't be but they haven't been caught at least most haven't. Especially not twice! Yeah I think it's fair.
Steep you say? Look what they did to the saints in 09....that was steep
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Brady has not been the only QB who likes his balls a certain way. I know I do.
Agreed. Rest of the qb's in the league likely called their ballboys and told them to hold off deflating until it blows over.
Its ridiculous IMO, and so was spygate. Every NFL team engages in questionable tactics for the edge. Millions of dollars are on the line, and those that ridicule are naive. I am not a Patriots fan, but am an NFL fan, and the moral stance of game integrity is laughable. Patriots are the target because of their success, and of course they have been caught red handed in both situations.
All teams have historically placed lip readers in the stands, spies on opposing sidelines to overhear plays, stickem on their hands, grease on their jersey, and many other tricks to gain a small advantage. Catch em, slap em on the wrist and carry on. Players play the game and these small advantages do not account for much once the ball is snapped. Tired of reading about these silly stories all in an attempt to draw more attention to an already very popular game.
P2i2tit was too much in my opinion. Not just because I'm a Pats fan either. first fact of the matter is that the rule book says nothing more than a $25,000 fine for that penalty.second thing is the league in general is completely biased against the Patriots in their integrity level due to past circumstances, and I personally believe those past circumstances played a huge role in this penalty.when this particular circumstance is the only thing that should have been accounted for when creating a penalty.also, this was a way of trying to prove that Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft's friendship was not and will not create special benefits and opportunities for the Patriots.he went above and beyond in punishment in order to "prove" this to the people. the good part is that an appeal will come and I can almost guarantee the punishment will at least be cut in half as it should be. There definitely should be a penalty and suspension IMO...but this was above and beyond for the wrong reasons
I'm curious to see what will become of the relationship between Goodell and Kraft after all this. I was thinking a 1-2 game suspension and maybe a fine BUT 4 games, 2 draft picks, and a million!! Come on there are players beating women, waving guns in peoples faces. Tons of these guys coming out of college with a past.
Too bad the Pats could somehow make it possible for the NFL to not national televise their games. Let's see what Belichick has in his bag of tricks
