Censored server gone?

ad

It seems the server is off the map. Does that mean the website is done. That would suck considering my order was just 3 days prior ha.

dextetherdog's picture

If you ordered from a source here - any issues you might have should be addressed in PM to the source. Then when/if you get your order you post a review. You can also discuss/share your experiences/questions in the source's comments section. As the Mod said: read the rules before posting anything anywhere.

Greg's picture

What would suck would be to post something without reading the rules you were directed to when you signed on. https://www.eroids.com/rules-and-guidelines

Neonblu's picture

Oh I read them just didn't know that a general question about a server being down was a violation. I wasn't promoting or bashing. Just seeing if others experienced the same problem bud.

Greg's picture

Any posting is an ad or a slight.

A server down is a sight to not being reliable, shifty, questionable... where it could just be you having the issue.
It could also be a ploy to get people to visit the site just to test for themselves and... low and behold look at that BOGO banner ad

If I thought you were up to something you would have gotten more than a warning. What I described above is why partly why we don't allow it for any reason

Neonblu's picture

You must be from a stupid place, and that's coming from a Memphis native. No one is trying to be a key board warrior. This is a place of knowledge.

Greg's picture

Not necessarily, because using bud at the end of a comment with a stranger is derogatory and used sarcastically when someone is not helpful or is anoying.

"Thanks for the help, bud."

Using bud at the start of a comment with a stranger is an attempt to get be personal and friendly.

"Hey bud, do you know where the closest waffle house is?".

This is a place of knowledge.

You've got that right, you've now just learned something.

Telling someone they come from a stupid place isn't very friendly now is it bud?

Neonblu's picture

If a place relates bud to the term cunt then yes it is most likely stupid. Like come on now, i know juice messes with our estrogen but no need to be so sensitive and to start reaching

Greg's picture

For someone who has been here only a day, after seeing your other posts as well, your borderline passive aggressive tone is not sitting too well with me. Particularly considering your "claimed age" and my advanced years.

Forgive me if I doubt your worldly experiance but if you ever found your way out of the south you might find merit in what Juicebox is saying. Any place that has chicken with waffles on the menu must be a stupid place too.

But be it as it may, I took your use of bud to be a bit snarky whether you meant it to be or not.

Snarky because it's in print and I don't know you.
Snarky because I'm over twice your age.
Snarky because I'm a mod on this site.

Now you're lecturing me? I've been playful up til now. Are you sure you want to go there bud?

Neonblu's picture

I would totally agree that the south is dumb too lol half the people down here in relationships are cousins. And my claimed age is very real. Maybe I should just upload pictures to confirm so I suppose. But if you feel like I'm trying to lecture I'll make sure to stay out of your way.

You raise an interesting point. When i was growing up Americans were well known for calling each other 'bud', 'buddy', 'pal'...and they were like 'mate is to Aussies/Poms and Kiwis...but in recent years they have evolved into insults and put-downs...what do Americans use now? I see 'mate' has grown popular on this site...but what is the general term for a mate in the US now?

Greg's picture

Lover

Pale's picture

LMAO! But I agree with Juice, Man, or bro/brother is more acceptable. I do not care for "bud"

The Impastable's picture

I believe the term is “bro” now... not really sure we have anything else similar to you aussies. You aussies seem to have a bigger sense of comraderie than us ‘muricans too, so perhaps that maybe why?

Pale's picture

Americans. We have turned tribal and primitive. The only time Americans stick together is if it is against someone from the outside, the rest of the time we fight each other.

vhman's picture

I guess I’m on the tribal trend, because I call people “chief”; or is that just because I’m old?

The Impastable's picture

That’s pretty accurate... doesn’t even really need to be someone from “outside outside,” just different enough to warrant tribal mentality.

Greg's picture

It's because our progressive friends (perhaps fueled on a bit by fake news on social media generated by the Russians) are destroying and making any semblance of National pride a bad thing.

Instinctively We form circles of groups around us starting with the family. Then our town, perhaps rallying around the local high school football team, then the closest urban center and pro ball teams, Parishes, Then state flag, national regional alliances, North west, new england, south, etc... all the way up to being American and then global groups.

Like rings of an onion.

When we start to take away our history, stop respecting the flag and refer to it as a negative "eye sore" stop kids from saying the pledge in school, in short destroying the social ring we call being American. We try and support our social similarities with rings lower down or higher up. Neither are equipped to do that.

So we start to see everyone as being in that other group, them and us, political rivals, racial rivals those elitist snobs living on the cost, and those deplorables in the heartland.

But as pale said we do come togeather when someone or something is attacking us from the outside. For a brief moment we were united as Americans again when we were hit with back to back hurricanes.

Pale's picture

I don't know whose side I am on or if anyones side at all. I agree with some progressive ideas, I agree with some conservative ideas and even some liberal ideas. I disagree with all of them equally as much. Problem is very few are looking at anything objectively like we always should do these days.

Greg's picture

You sound like an independant. I also think if people stop gravitating to their rigid ideological talking points most of us would come to a common consensus.

Case in point. Most local city governments (mayor and council) do not run with a party. And those governments run better than the State and national governments which do. If asked what party you think your mayor or councilman was I'd bet most would project their own party if they liked the candidate and the other party if they did not (projecting).

In our town we are in a liberal state, and a liberal county. Most voters are liberal. Nearly everyone agrees with the mayor who they see as liberal. He actually is a republican able to govern without the ideological baggage of the republican party nor does he have to face a knee jerk reactions to his socially liberal, fiscally conservative but always pragmatic solutions.

The Impastable's picture

Interesting view on it, I’d have to agree somewhat.

I think people have lost sight of what all the parties are there for in the first place, which is to represent the people and work for them, through compromise. Nowadays it seems it doesn’t matter what issue it is, it automatically gets turned into an us vs. them war and the policies which get passed while we’re busy flinging shit at each other benefit neither side.

Pale's picture

I would rather run as simply an American.

Greg's picture

George Washington rather prophetically warned us about forming parties. In his farewell address he said.

The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.

Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight), the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.

It serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which finds a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country is subjected to the policy and will of another.

Pale's picture

I know I have read that before but goddamn is that beautiful.

You don't mention sources outside of their source pages. A server being 'down' could mean anything. Do some research.
