Carpal tunnel
ad
I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel oh about 10 years ago give or take, at first it was just a flare up every so often but for the last 2 years its an everyday occurrence. Its bilateral and the first surgery is scheduled for 6/8/17, from what was explained to me its a pretty quick procedure and within 4-6 weeks although not at full capacity i can operate normally. Not worried one but and actually ready to be done with it, just curious if anyone here may have had it done and what can i expect as far as getting back to lifting.

Some people claim that they never get back to full strength again even after surgery.
I would imagine you could probably train again 6-8 weeks after your surgery. I would ask your
doctor though first.
Sorry bud but your in for a world of shit.
I was a butcher for 6 yrs, carpal tunnel and repetative strain injury.
You wont be lifting with that arm with full capacity again.
Sorry bro.
Good luck.
Been welding for 15 years and it took its toll on me....so there is long term effects im guessing.
Fingers and hand " claw " up and you get that tennis elbow couple times a year from weights
