I’m trying to find bitcoin transaction ID. Could someone point me in the right direction on how to find this?

If it's still interested, then try to use following instruction, should be useful:
1) Go to https://blockchain.info
2) Paste the Bitcoin Wallet Address to which you sent the payment in to the "search line" and click "SEARCH"
3) Here you will see all transaction, that went to the BTC wallet that you typed. Check the date of payment and amount in BTC to make sure that it's the one that you are looking for, cause if there was more the one transaction ID to this wallet, you have to recognize the one, that you are looking for, so check date of payment and amount of BTC, to make sure that it's right one
P.S. BTC transaction ID always contain 64 characters

blockchain.com you can easily find the payment information you made through it.
What wallet do you use? Coinbase?
I use the cash app.
Go to either blockchain.com or blockchair.com
You will need your address or the address you sent to.
Then use the search to check the address. It shows what was sent or received. You can find the transaction id there. Also depending on the wallet you use, you can look at the details in your history.
