Any Olympic Lifters?
Yeah yeah, I know the Olympics is on, but this isn't what inspired this post.
During my Marine Corps career, I've experienced just about every form of physical fitness: marathon running, swimming, iron man, boxing, MMA, Crossfit, gymnastics, and dabbled in Olympic lifting...and loved it. I'm due out of the Corps at the end of the month and will be heading back to school, with intent to xfer to UC Berkeley.
In NorCal, there is some top coaches (Glenn Pendley). I've never been coached in Olympic Lifting, but has always wanted. I do believe I have good form with the lifts. Just cant decide if id rather compete in bodybuilding or Olympic lifting...At UC Berkeley, and where ever I get my Masters, i could compete for the school. The gym on base has an Olympic platform, and I loce getting on it and throwing up some clean and jerks.
So any thoughts?

I USED TO BE AN OLYMPIC LIFTER........THEN I TOOK AN ARROW TO KNEE.
UC Berkeley is one tough school!
CleyonFirst thought is UC Berkley??? I thought the only sports they had were Ultimate Frisbee and Disk Golf? Other than that, I love the thought of powerlifting/olympic lifting, but my joints won't take the severe strain of it. Lifting to buuild enough muscle for a bodybuilding comp is difficult enough on my joints. That being said, I am more impressed by lifters than I am builders.
