175lbs...

ad

I trip out on the fact that all the "first cycle" posts are guys that are 170-175lbs. I mean I get it, you want to be bigger. But I find it hard to believe that one has even really lifted or lived long enough in that mindstate if they are 5'10" and at that weight. And it's the majority of each first cycle door I open...I swear I went from a birdboned fk to around 195 on just food and creatine when I very first picked up the weights. Maybe I just really am a maniac when I lift or maybe it's because I over did it lifting each and every time and in doing such I was a hungry mofo. I beat the shit out of myself doing endless sets so I went from a normal 3 meal a day guy to a always hungry guy.

If these guys are truly maniacs under the weights I know they have to be fkn hungry...right!? I know everyone is different but no...if you are exerting mass amounts of energy, your body will need mass amounts of fuel...so I ask...why the fk is everyone 170-175lbs??

Agreed. It's a whole new lifestyle, I have a sports car addiction and this lifestyle is more expensive then my other hobby. My food cost is extreme, the punishment my body goes through is extreme. You see it all the time as a trainer as well. The guy who no matter what has the genetics of a girl and yet he still tries and gets nowhere, you have the other guys that have bad genetics but they put in a lot of work in the kitchen and the gym and get good but can never break their plateau. I was gifted with stocky genetics and thick dense muscle and my only struggle is watching what I eat and timing my carbs. I can;t count how many guys back home I trained after 6 months of them killing themselves just did not make the cut and its hard to tell them this lifestyle is not for them because they do not want to hear it. I almost gave up myself a few times but after seeing pictures of my dad and pics of the men in my family when they were young with a lot of muscle and never trained I was given hope. Genetics play a very big part we know but you still have to put in the work in order to benefit from any training.

yep, it all requires an extreme amount of focus, lots of work...the training. And even for someone like you or me, it is tough to keep the focus. I hear ya on the "giving up" thoughts...I go thru it couple times/year it seems. Just have to push again...just like eating the way I do EVERY DAY...its a struggle and requires an extreme mental push to power thru it, packing the digestive system full of food like that Smile

What you two guys are talking about is the root to it all............. these fuckers just simply do not want to do the hard part... i.e - fkn hard eating and training!

Roids are simply the icing on the cake............ but these fucks cant be arsed to build the fkn cake.

DBG's picture

Man....fkn gear is more about recovery for my torn up ass.......and you're right, the gear is the icing on the cake!!!

and yes it is time to eat again, its been an hour and half since lol Smile

IrishMack's picture

The cake is the best part, the icing only adds less then 10% of the total flavor. I'm fkn starving now.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

good idea.......... ive been working in the pissin rain all morning.............. LETS EAT!!!!!!

tonytulo's picture

You can ask irishmak about my diet and how much I eat. I spend a good majority of my day eating.

He looks real serious. I wouldn't steal his food.

IrishMack's picture

If you ever saw Stir crazy, you would remember grossberger when they looked at him in the mess hall and he wrapped his arms around his food, that's me. I still eat like that even in restaurants and my wife always gives me dirty looks like someone is going to steal my food. I don't share either so neener neener to you too Blum 3

You know what I hate? When I'm cooking and say "do you want some" to the Mrs. "No" she replies. Then as soon as it arrived, she wants to steal some of it. "Just one blah blah". Not right, it's practically abuse in my eyes.

That's what forks are for. Stabbing people trying to steal my food.....

IrishMack's picture

LMAO I feel your pain although my wife is a vegetarian so I never worry about her going after my steak or chicken, but fries or vegetables she always wants to "give it a try" as if she never had them before smh.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

Lets go bro..................................... lemme hit that log out tab, im fkn ravenous now lol

Catalyst's picture

"But my diet is on point bro" lmao.

IrishMack's picture

Everytime I see that posted on the guy who is 5 foot 10 and 140 I almost lose it.

12stone's picture

I weighed 175 once... In 7th grade! There's a herd of skinny 18 year olds at my gym recently and all I ever hear them talk about is "d-ball bro!". Just wondering if they know how bad they are screwing themselves . Sad really.

Haha, na not quite a fat kid... Played football and being a lineman was all about size. I would def say I was on the chubby side, but was one of the biggest kids on the team til highschool. Thanks for bringing up my "fat" past! Hope I don't relapse...

You know what they say bro.. It's not the fall that will be the problem... it's the sudden stop that might be a bummer lol

bolt781's picture

Haha I may not be a smart man, ......but fkn christ!

Yea brother that has alot to do with it. Things were so much more physical when I was a youngster. If I wanted a jump now!...I chipped and dug at dirt all day till I had it now! You know what Im sayin...it just aint the same for gangstas haha if I wanted it now I always got the, "you can want in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills first" answer...
