Newbie here... any advice?
Hi...
I'm pretty strong so I am not looking to gain mass or strength. I have an event coming up in September and I'd like to lose 20-30 lbs to make weight for it. I also would love to look pretty tight and have definition. Mind you- I've got to keep the strength for this event, so I'm not talking about body building here.
My question for you is this:
I'm doing all this reading and if I could do what I wanted, it would be this:
Reduce fat, increase definition, try not to loose strength by September.
I'm looking at clen, but are there any other things I should be aware of. I only want to get down to this event and probably will never touch this stuff again as with all the training I do, I should be able to maintain. I'm scared of steroids because I don't want to lose hair (baldness runs in my family), I don't want a huge clitoris, nor my voice to change. I just want more definition in what I already have. Would the clen be enough along with the prescribed diet and exercise?
Thanks!

What's going on in September?
Im guessing something they don't do blood work on ???
Oh wow I just realized I'm in the ladies lounge! Lmao smack in the face... See ya guys
So I guess you're saying that I shouldn't use anything at all.
Okay.
Thanks for the advice.
Why not just change your diet ? Why even touch Clen ??
The diet is fine and is working... but I don't believe I will get the results I am looking from from just diet alone and not in that amount of time.
you're not running the right diet is all.. It can be done I ve done it for competition before in 12 weeks.. not fun but def can be done.
If I run a competition diet, I won't be able to perform. Again, this isn't for aesthetic reasons, this is for a weight requirement. Looking good at that requirement is also a plus but the athletics need to be there. Cannot be weak and need to be able to go for 25 mins straight.
And I am not trying to be snippy here. It seems that the consensus is that I shouldn't take anything at all so I'll go with that and if I don't make weight, I don't make weight.
I don't tend to take things personal but I didnt lose any strength on the diet and I had a full plate at the time..
Cool.
So what is clen for then?
I mean, I was looking at the other stuff but I don't have a problem with gaining strength at all and I am not looking to get bigger on purpose. Just to "look cut" when I make weight. I gain weight very easily. I should have been a powerlifter- but, well... not my thing. So I thought I'd ask for advice. Ideally, I'd like to make the weight at least a month or two before my event in September- that way I can train at the goal weight but I don't want to make myself ill either. So I came on here seeking advice because I was told that clen was the way to go.
Thanks for your time.
I personally wont touch it... some use it and can't tolerate the side effects others use it and like it ... I prefer to use my diet to manipulate my body fat ... I think cardio and diet are much healthier than using clen just my opinion though. I it was me I drop any and all simple carbs and subsitute with fiberous carbs such as brocoli, cauliflower, spinach .... no potatoes no rice .. no sugar. fruits and nuts for snacks..
Haha.. yeah, I don't eat potatoes or rice or bread.
Oh well. Thanks.
I guess you're stuck with the clen .... I have to assume you do cardio ..
My cardio is boxing. Which is what I have to do in September.
yeah so I m thinking clen .. lol..
Hahaha... Okay.
From what I am reading, (which might be total shit), I'm thinking that two weeks or one cycle of it might be just the slight kick over that I need to get me where I need to be. But I don't want to die or anything... LOL.
Oh boy.. maybe I should just say "screw it". I don't want to have a heart attack!
like I said i m not a fan .. but I will tell you should you use it research a proper cycle taper on .. taper off and most of all listen to your body .. better than sitting in the sauna in a garbage bag the night before
" better than sitting in the sauna in a garbage bag the night before." THIS times 100.
This is why I wanted to try to reach weight a month or two before. Too often fighters meet this the night before then they come in woozy the next day because of trying to re-hydrate/eat. I want to make weight.. and look hot when I kick the bitch's ass in the ring! ;)
excellent goal ;-)
I train in boxing at least every other day and I lift three days a week. I eat "clean". The weight is coming off... just don't think I'll make the 135 by September.
