Resetting caffeine tolerance?
ad
Hi All,
I have been on a long term cut and lost a strong amount, for around 6 weeks of this I was using an ECA stack. It got to the point where I was literally permanently tired on this stuff, taking 700mg of caffeine a day and I was burnt out Hardcore. Went to the docs and she said that I need to come off caffeine because it was having an adverse effect.
That was about 3 weeks ago, my levels are probably down to 50-100mg of caffeine a day maximum now. I find the ECA stack very useful, how long before I can go back on this again? Do I need a full week of zero caffeine to completely reset? Also, is there anything like Ketofien which will continually knock your receptors back?

I only use caffenine/NO-Explode before workouts...I cut out the morning coffee so now I only have my caffenine 4-5 times per week at just one dose...NO is pretty powerful at 220 mg per scoop....That worked for me.
Do NOT go cold turkey. I have done it twice and the headaches are horrendous and last up to a week. Cut your intake to 1 to 2 cups of coffee (energy drinks etc...). Ramp up after a few weeks. Repeat.
A good mixture to help knock your adrenal gland back in to normal mode is Ashwagandha and Astragalus. You can find these products mixed in with other good herbs that help bring your levels back to normal, help with anxiety, and mostly get your adrenal core back into gear after abusing or long term caffeine, ephedra, other stimulants. I know this because I use to love the old school ephedra products and got use to taking them every day prior to the gym. Ashwaganda and Astragalus helped get my adrenal glands back into check and got rid of some anxiety and fatigue that I had do to the stimulants.
AnonThe headache from withdrawl is brutal, anyone know a sollution other than tylenol ?
slowly wean yourself off.. or shoot yourself 0-0
I went cold turkey and completely came off it, day 2 had a headache so increased t 100mg a day and i've stayed at that point. Is it worth coming completely off it or just low dosing for a while have the same effect?
I guess I can't answer if you should completely come off it, other than to say why are you coming off completely? We worked on a case once with a guy who was having explosive episodes of anger.. we were completely stumped until we saw him drinking POTs of coffee.. caffiene can be terrible in high doses. I drink coffee, have drank coffee on and off my entire life. Strange thing is that it doesn't seem to do much of anything for me as a stimulant. LOL .. I like to give it to Goth and watch him run around the house like the energizer bunny on crack ..
Anonfuck thats about right, cause when I have quit cold turkey it has felt like a bullet ripping through. Its a powerful adiction
For me, if I don't touch caffein for 2 weeks I will completely get rid of my tolerance. 100 mg will feel like 250.
Remember caffein raises blood pressure
Come off completely for a week. After 3 or 4 days you'll feel much better. It'll be rough, but you'll feel like you're starting it for the first time again. Once you're on again, take two days off a week. The days off will prevent this from happening aflgain and keep the effectiveness
Try a week off and see how you feel.
Or use it once a week when you need that boost.
