What’s the update on this? Wanna hear if you ever made any progress. I’m just researching into atrophy from neck issues. Mine is all chest and some triceps and it’s driving me crazy. I’m trying to find out what doctor I should even try to get in with. Guessing some orthopedic doc. Not sure if I can reverse the damage but gotta try… hope you’ve made some progress since your post.

Here's the thing, if that nerve is pinching and causing that kind of atrophy, you're leaning on nerve damage, maybe permanent and gear won't exactly help even things out but I'm assuming it's only partial, which is good but the damage may be there. The injections won't work magic, they'll take a few weeks minimum, maybe months to lower inflammation enough to even ease up on the nerve (if at all). I would hold off on the cycle. If microdisectomy is an option, I'd consider it. Probe your dr about every option you can, hope for the best brother.

You’re in a very tough situation, Diesel is on the right track, but don’t think blood flow, think communication line being interrupted. Your muscles aren’t getting the signal from the brain to contract, resulting in the atrophy. I’d discuss any weight training with your treating physician, you don’t want permanent disability.

Right, muscles aren't firing correctly and eventually die off/atrophy as a result.

The only compound that I think may help is Anavar. Doctors prescribe Anavar to AIDS patients to help with muscle wasting. I’m not going to guarantee it will work for you, but here’s a little info to back up my claim.

Its a bit different in your case because aids patients have an immune disease that causes the muscle wasting. Their nerves aren't affected and hence why the Oxandrolone is still effective and works for them and helps the muscle wasting effects of the disease. If the nerves are shot and can't send signals to muscles as a result of pinched nerve, theres no AAS that will be beneficial to that due to the lack of muscle firing/signaling that is essentially killing off the muscle and keeping it from functioning, healing and growing. AAS do not regenerate nerves, just heals exoskeletal muscles faster and makes them stronger. Stem cells injections would be the best possible route for this, but its still considered experimental last I heard, but hope the development will lead to more helpful outcomes in the near future or at least lessen the damage brought on by nerve issues

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but nothing short of repairing the nerve damage will help. Long story but I was misdiagnosed and my spinal stenosis cut off the nerves to my left calve and hamstring. My left calve is skin and bones. Get to an orthopedist asap before the damage is irreversible like mine.

^ Yep ^...absolutely agree. AAS isn't the solution here, but treating the root of the issue is...

I'm sure my problem wasn't as bad as yours, but back when I was around 18 and natty I was heavy dumbell pressing on chest then sat up on the bench strangely while holding the dumbells. My head literally locked to the side via my neck and I had to look out the side of my eyes at everyone for several days after!!! The pain was so bad my father had to drive me to A&E to get it looked at. It did however release after about 3 days but it was a scary and frustrating time. Of course my father told me it was my own fault for doing weights Lol

I know this is more of the holistic route but if you can find a good acupuncturist, I mean a real legit place, I would consider it.

I have had several pinched nerves in my neck. This is exactly what you do. Go to the drug store and get a soft neck brace. They are like 15$ trust me been through this a lot. Sleep with the neck brace. It will go away much faster. Weeks faster.

If it's a nerve issue, no amount of steroids will make that muscle grow back. The lack of blood circulation due to the nerve being pinched is the root of the issue. The blood supply there is essentially cut off and as a result, the muscle dies off. This is an issue with some of current pros on the bodybuilding stage. Ian Valliere for example, has pinched nerves in his back and it caused his lats and lower back muscles to melt away and atrophy. Coleman also had pinched nerves in his back and same thing with the lats/back muscles disappearing, which resulted in more disaster when he couldn't take the pain anymore and decided to get fusion surgery that was botched and he had to go again and again. I hope yours gets better though and wish you well.

Ive had it happen before on the left, the muscles all grew back eventually, now its the right, however i didn't cycle that hard, just some test and thats it, im getting my injections next week, this is what i did last time, just trying to speed up the process

I understand what you are saying. I'm saying that the muscle atrophied and got small due to the fact that the pinched nerve is preventing proper blood flow to that muscle group. Hence them getting smaller and wasting away. No androgenic anabolic steroid will help them grow once the blood flow/supply is cut off as a result of the pinched nerve. The solution lies not in steroids like you think, but in fixing that pinched nerve issue, if possible. Getting bigger and putting on more mass would just make your condition worse believe it or not. Good luck

The pinch is due to a disk that's inflamed and bulged apparently, so from the last time this happened to me the injection brought down the inflammation and releasing the pinch
