Pain in the nuts!
ad
At about week 4-5 of a cycle when my boys decide to shrivel up and retreat I start to get some pain in my groin. It not a sharp pain but a dull pain that is comparable to the same pain I feel if I get hit in the jewels ( but much less intense). The pain lasts about an hr or so and comes and goes for about a week.
Has anyone else experiences this?

I never thought of the adrenal glam shrinking but it makes sense. I'm gonna have to start to carrying epi-pens around and when I get into a fight or flee situation will gave to hit my quad with a pen to make the decision lol.
I definitely have, it's the saddest thing, In theory ,if you testis shrink, your adrenal glands can shrink as well, and that is the worst.
I get it sometimes when there shutting down or coming back no biggy
Are you doing heavier squats and leg presses etc? If so that can also cause that dull ache.
To me the pain is not unlike a bad case of blue balls.
need... more... sex...
Thanks guys, I have a pct in order and I understand how any why they are shrinking I was curious to know if the pain is normal.
I experience the same thing, I also get that same pain with my first few shots of HCG
Wardi77It's quite normal. Many forms of exogenous testosterone/testosterone-like replacement (i.e. anabolic steroids) will cause shut down of the HPTA axis. Simply put, it shuts down your normal testosterone production.Testosterone is produced in the testes and a small amount in the adrenal glands. As the need for natural testosterone is inhibited by the exogenous testosterone or testosterone-like steroid the testicles slowly stop producing testosterone. They pretty much shrink and shut down. The shut-down process involves some pain (a dull ache is how I can describe it) in the testicles. THIS IS NORMAL when using anabolic steroids. When you cease the use of steroids and do a proper post cycle therapy to get your normal testosterone back up the pain can subside or remain while the testicles are reactivating.
If the pain is severe (more than just a dull ache) get it checked out. Some steroids (particularly DHT derived androgens) can cause prostate irregularities that can lead to infection or worse. Lifting injuries can also cause micro tears in the area which can also lead to problems, infections, or worse. Goodluck brother
Yes! You need PCT ! They will drop back after you start taking PCT
