Pain In Shoulder blade
I have injured my shoulder last week doing dumbell military presses, I went up on weight and I got what felt like a crick in my neck and shoulder blade. It seemed to go away after a few days and the other day I was working my shoulders out and the crick came back. I called it a day and went home. by 9pm that night the crick had turned into a throbbing pain. Now I have had three of the most uncomfortable days of my life. My right arm feels like its going numb and in the morning its really bad. I wake up from not being able to get the pain to stop. The only way I know to describe the pain is when your arm is going numb the achy throbbing feeling it gets right before it goes numb. my shoulder blade feels like my muscles are all knotted up. what do you think this could be?

It sounds somewhat like thoracic outlet syndrome- in other words something, likely muscle, is compressing your brachial plexus resulting in neuropathy. It could also be a pinched nerve. Is your entire arm numb or just certain areas?
I had similar issues with my rotater cuff. Many shoulder injuries occur from lack of blood flow to the rotater cuff. Typically we warm up with movements that warm up the muscle but don't neccesarily introduce blood flow to the rotater. Research a few exercises for that aim. Also, try a little fish oil, does wonders for joint lubrication to prevent injury.
Ah thats hurts just thinking about it..i had a torn left rotator cuff couldnt even lift my arm without help...fucked me up for six months..still lifted what i could and the weird thing is it actually made my left chest bigger than the right..believe thats because i had to focus most my energy using chest on bench work..now before every shoulder related workout im doing rotator cuff work kind of even stress out..
tread-mBrother until you get it sorted out work your legs, there is benefit even going to upper body and keep your diet rolling in a bigger way and you come out the other side not having depreciated....right back in it nothing but a speed bump. As was said, may need to see the doc if not getting relief pretty soon. Some muscle relaxers may help if you have a nerve issue as well.
You might of damaged a nerve that's probably why your arms going numb. I think it's time to see a doc bro
Push for an MRI. They're expensive...got Medicaid to pay for mine (share of cost). If it's a tendon issue you would have a long road ahead of you, so Don't aggravate it. Stay away from over the head exercises until you see the doc and possibly even a second opinion since most doctors are stuck on some 1960's shit
56tooI dont know pope but if its getting worse and not better I wld go c a doc ASAP. Good luck with that brother, I know injuries really suck
