I, still being the noob I am here on eriods, learned the proper protocol real quick. If I have one suggestion, aside from reading the rules it would be to know who the MOD'S!! If you don't know they are:
MODS - VITAMIN-V, hllwdFUboy, bodybulider, Roid Noid and Nitti the Terrible
Scour the forums and look for posts they have commented on.
You will learn one of two things
- What makes them happy
- What pisses them off
and as a bonus you'll learn a ton of shit.
I do this everyday, like I said don't get on their bad side cause they've been cleaning house!

After seeing what some of these guys are getting sent home for I'm fucking lucky my ass wasn't gone. Must caught them on a good day, thankful for that!

If you have a job, this is not that much different to how your company is organized except u r reporting into a small team, not just a single boss. So, if u think about stuff that u would not bitch, moan, whine, and complain about with your boss - don't bring it before the MOD team either.
Does your company have policies and procedures u don't like? Tough boogies. You violate company policy one too many times and what do you think will happen. Same here.
If u contribute and write good stuff and u are consistent, u will find that the MODs respect that and they will give u a well thought out response in a brief PM if you need a supervisor for something.
I'm certainly not God's gift to the website or the net but I try to get a little better day by day week by week in not only my comments but in providing value to the site that fits in with the MODs current set of objectives.
Oh yeah - kissing the bosses ass for karma? Just think about how well that is going to work. And, everyone on the site gets to see u do it. Way to make friends and influence people. LOL
Well said Gear. I think they're all about having a good time, but if people aren't gonna take this serious then they won't put up with it, seen happen a lot lately.

I might suggest sending each mod a FR. (Friend Request)
You never know when you might need to get ahold of one, and you'll be able to see who is on line.
Send a few vets a FR.
Before posting something you're unsure of, it never hurts to ask someone in a PM
Some things that makes a mod happy can not be posted... just saying ;-)

Just don't bother them with needless PM's. But if you ever need to get ahold of one, how will you do it? Send a FR to one that may not be on line and wait for a reply?
