Negging Sources/Labs
Recently I had a product that I did not like and I have had a lot of attention from my review of that item. I want to separate myself from saint/marter/spokesperson or the likes. I never sent my item to a lab and I did not get fresh bloods drawn to verify my dis-satisfaction, I just did not like a certain item.
In addition, I received a lot of attention about the source. Well, let me say, I don't believe a bad product means much on the face about the source. They get hurt the same as us. I consider me with my little vial of suspect product and then I imagine the next in line with two-dozen, and then the lab with a dozen dozen. The world is bigger than my problem.
I think when i see a good source getting hammered after years of good service, I feel sorry. If you've ever had a door kicked in by Feds of any country, well, life becomes more trouble than it seems to be worth. My little vial of UGL, that I always knew could have a problem with anyhow, seems trivial.
Even Tesco gets horse meat in their minced beef... so how is your source going to be better protected? How is the lab going to be better protected? I have often toyed with all that 'e-z' money dealing with the chinese... yeah, right. About five minutes into my thinking, I remember a friend of mine who was the nicest guy in the whole world. He was a 'pinto viejo' for real, worn out from 30-years with the US Feds and he needed my help with some papers. This kid as a youngster used to rush ships with cargo in gangs of 20 men with automatic weapons and take their whole cargo. Yeah, e-z money, my ass! Then I remember my partying days a youth, with some guys in Chicago one summer. We bought an ounce or so at time of party materials and even then there were automatic weapons around... no thanks! I was too scared to go into those places back then and I am too scared today!
I know that a source goes through more shit than I have the balls to, and on a daily basis. Then there are the days that I get stupid and put about 12-oz of alcoholic drink on top of 400mg of stacked AAS and type out 2-pages of drunken text to my source like an ex-girl.... NO ONE should have to endure that.
My point, if you're going to neg a source, you better have some pretty solid reasoning, not one missed order and not one bad vial. And if you're going to neg a lab, then you would be good to have some lab work. Spectral analysis is easy to come by and affordable. If I had gear in the thousands, then yes, I would get analysis and hell yes I would raise bloody murder. But, if I am unhappy with a product, I'm going to chuck it and move onto the next lab, there are thousands.
I've seen one big issue lately and the OP has dealt with this like a true professional. He put facts up, conclusions that met the facts, and he treated his source with respect. Now, a lot of people called for blood, but why? What do you really want from the source? He's been serving the community for years and well from what I can read. He's as fucked over as the rest and likely a hundred fold worse. He's the poor bastard who has to go deal with people who could honestly care less. Try getting burned 1,000 grams at a whack!
Me, my pockets aren't deep enough and my balls are not big enough to deal with the root. I have a lot of respect for my sources and the labs.
Now, the labs. Every time I get some sales person talking about a few hundred grams of product for a couple hundred quid... well pound signs go running like slot wheels in my eye sockets.... then I picture my kids over my coffin as they close my funeral with, 'it's a damned shame...." Fuck that! Benzyl what? Ethyl who? Hexyl ben ladin??? I guess if someone is so certain their lab got it wrong, then they should thank their God that they are alive, 'cause there are much bigger problems than under-dose that I can think of. Check out Fentanyl some day and how many poor bastards get killed by that each year. We're pretty blessed in this sport, 'cause honestly I don't come up with that many people getting killed by products.
Yeah, we're often geeked up, wound up, hyped up, and wound up. My post office likes to scan their special delivery before they deliver so they don't look late and I'm like a caged dog when I see that tracking number reading 'delivered' and I don't have my order. Worse, they often miss by a day, that's just service where I live, and that sux too, coming home to get a parcel and it does not show. But try taking a few dozen parcels to the post every day and ship them off first person. Fuck that! I don't have the balls. Or try letting a delegate be responsible... I don't have the trust. We've got it pretty good.
So, in the end, if you have a problem with your product, just say so, but don't call your source names and don't call the lab a fake. I have a lab that put out a product which I put in the trash can, but I have a dozen other products from them that have really helped me make months of progress in weeks. I love my labs and I love my sources. If you call a product 'bunk' bring me spectral analysis, not a feeling. If you call a lab bogus, then be prepared to explain why dozens of others think the lab is putting out great gear. If you call a source a rip-off, well just pick one of the hundreds of others, but don't begin a smear compaign because you missed one parce.
