Muscle loss after not working out

ad

Not sure where to put this. I currently use 140mg/week test and 2mg/reta(2 months). Well I lost about 25lbs and 3 weeks ago I had wrist surgery so I haven’t been able to lift upper body although I have been doing legs 3 times a week.
Now my upper body is looking flat and it’s very annoying. When I can finally lift again how long will it take to come back? Should I add more test and maybe 200 calories (protein) daily to get going again?

I don’t think it was as major as what you had done. There was a bone cyst on the lunate and it needed to be removed and then a bone graft to fill it in. Yeah I have to keep the patience but it’s so annoying when you can see yourself shrinking. But I know you and the others here are right thanks

Buddy I've been through this a couple of times during the past 12 months getting fuckin bronchitis twice for 5.5 weeks each time during these flu epidemics where you are immobilised from even taking the bin bags out without having an ER style coughing fit LOL Accept that you have been ill and there has been 'Nothing' you can do about it - you've had wrist surgery so that you are able to train again, it was a necessity. Don't look at how long will it take to get ALL my muscle back again - Look at and enjoy how fucking amazing it is to be able to get in the gym again and be lifting, going through all the motions again and to be able to live your old life again of Gym, Eat, Sleep and feeling FUCKIN GREAT again!!! Get back in the gym and smash shoulders and chest one day, then the next back and arms and the water and glycogen uptake together with the soreness will have you feeling Big and Amazing again just after the first few days.

The muscle size and weight will really begin to show once you have trained those muscle groups 2 or 3 times and then its just a case of consistency and eating heavy and well at every opportunity. You will be putting your clothes and tops back on in the mirror again and in no time will be saying to yourself 'I am lookin the fuckin Bollocks again!! I would increase the Test dose a little from your TRT because at the end of the day 400mg per week is going to work much better than 140mg, throw in a bit of DBol here and there if you want before a few sessions at 20mg per day. Or even add a bit of NPP, the options are endless - but don't throw a tonne of gear at it when only a little is needed as you haven't trained in so long. At first simply learning the groove of the movement and conditioning the muscle and tendons is all that is needed and let food and sleep do the rest. Include that protein increase and make sure to add in additional Magnesium, Vitamin D and Zinc on top of any vitamin protocol to get added recovery Smile

Bruh of course you’re gonna be flat you haven’t hit it. Let it fill up with blood, food/nutrients, and muscle memory. It will come back 3-4 weeks. Strength can take time but youll see a significant difference in fullness n size once ur back to it, and fast

If you have ran cycles in the past, then yes increase that test when you can lift again and maybe even add in some Primo. It's still going to take a bit to rebuild, you will start to notice in a month. You should be taking plenty of protein anyways since you are still working out the legs, them alone require a lot.
When you are on Reta, it's very important to eat protein when you do eat otherwise you will be mostly stagnant on muscle building even with gear.

Ok good info thank you. I am currently 6’ 200. I usually eat 200g protein daily. I am on a deficit. I think I will be adding a touch when I can lift again.
