Liver check up
ad
Several months ago a went to the dr to get an annual and really pre cycle physical/blood work.. Results were that my liver enzymes were way out of wack: AST 67, ALT 154... That was after coming off a pro hormone cycle. For a month I took a break for all supplements (other than protein and a pre w/o every now and the) and they dropped to AST 39 ALT 67. So, I decided to run test c @ 600mg a week and am on my 10th week and the other day I went back to have those levels checked again. ALT 184 AST 71... Would the testosterone alone do this? I'm not taking any orals...

The nice thing about running Test only is that it doesn't tend to spike liver enzymes. Tearing your muscle down in the gym will elevate those numbers as will any even minute injuries from training. I'm most definitely not a doctor bro, but those numbers would not keep me awake at night.
BigBmajTraining hard can result in high liver values showing up in blood work. Mine have been that way many times.
Thats actually not too bad. I posted bloods on here in the spring at one time and I had elevated levels of just about everything...WBC, neutrophils, liver enzymes, etc...its probably just from kicking your ass in the gym. Such as if you elevate your training intensity and all, it throws a lot of stuff out of wack like this. Someone who is good to talk to about this is "MegaT883". Also in order for Liv52 to be more effective, its gonna depend on your bodyweight. I weigh 220-225 and I had to take 3 tabs 3x/day
I'm right at 200 and take 3 2x a day but I'm thinking it very well may be from exercise... I've been training 7 days a week.
Heavy weight training can spike AST and ALT levels, those enzymes are found in skeletal muscle as well as the liver. For that reason, muscle damage is indiscernable from liver damage by those 2 markers. If your GGT and bilirubin are in the normal range, you're most likely safe.
Both of those levels are perfect, would this most likely mean this is not liver related you think?
IMHO no it's not liver related, and you have nothing to worry about. If you start to feel lousy, don't hesitate to recheck. But I wouldn't let it eat me up
Thanks man.. I'm
Hoping it's not.
could be numerous factors here, for one pre work outs cause havoc on the kidneys and liver, also what about prescription meds? alcohol? what pro hormone?? did you use liver protectors?? pro hormones really harm your liver badly!! they actually harm everything.
No alcohol or prescription meds. I have been leaking liv 52 religiously the entirety of this cycle. The period of time my liver enzymes did go back to normal I was taking pre workouts. I read that protein can cause elevated enzymes but no way that alone could cause them to be this high. The pro hormone was methyl tren 550.
