Kidney function is calculated on blood work by taking creatine serum, BUN, age and sex and running them through a formula to give us an estimated kidney function shown as eGFR (Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate)
There are always two options on the blood work, one for whities and one for blacks. The black folks have their number calculated differently because of the increased muscle mass, and give a reading about 10 points higher.

As steroid users, weight lifters and bodybuilders shouldn't we use the eGFR for black folks?
