+ 3 If You Have to Ask, Then You're Not Ready
I don't bitch and complain much, but I'm having surgery tomorrow on my hernia and I'm losing a few weeks of ground work...so I'm in a sour mood.
This week I shot up to a new gym for a change of pace. It was a fancy ass fitness club, great equipment, shit layout. Anyway, the place was full of 'Billy beach body' posers. I couldn't stand the amount of douche baggery that was surrounding me. When some of these kids got in a group, they grew a few nut hairs and had no qualms about asking the new big guy 'the question'. Let me tell you how much I love when someone I don't know asks me what I take to look like this. And then follow up with, what can they take to get cut.
My thoughts in a polite manner... fuck you, this was built on more than just gear. It's an insult that belittles my years of hard work, insane training, and regimented diet. I have been consistent with my diet and training for more than a decade, please take your question and shove it.
I will literally bend over backwards and pour hours of my free time into anyone who asks me about my diet and training, because that person has it figured out. The gear is ancillary, you can't get the other shit right, stay the hell away from the gear. Or proceed to spend your last dime on juice, with not a penny left for food, I'm sure you'll grow that way.
Anyway, rant is over. T minus 12 hours til under the knife...

xub3rn00dlexGood luck with your surgery bro. Maybe if you have sometime on your hands after it all goes down I'll shoot you a PM for a little help regarding my next bulk cycle ( ~8 weeks away. ) I want to see what you suggest regarding exercise and maybe tune up what i have in mind for a diet.
sure thing, send me a fr and pm me
Good luck with the surgery mate. Hope all goes well and wish you a speedy recovery.
thanks bud. all stitched up and drugged up now.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I learned the hard way. First cycle I ate like shit and at the end of it I lost all my gains and looked worse than I did when I started. It is absolutely amazing what AAS can do for you, IF you eat correctly. Diet and training is key. If you don't have those two locked down you shouldn't even consider gear.
Case in point. My new training partner is natty. He wants to cycle but the guy drinks like a fish and his diet sucks. I don't even think he gets in 150grams of protein a day. He also doesn't have the right mindset. Dude gives up when he gets tired or the weight gets heavy. He keeps asking me about AAS and I keep telling him that when he can't make it through a workout without giving up, fix his diet, and stop drinking....then ill school him on gear.
+1 good post
Greekmuscle1WNY were to much alike my friend couldn't have said it better +1

Obama Blowspreach that shit mayne
Wow... I don't even know what to say haha. I just KNOW what you mean. People look at you, and ask.. what are you on? What are you doing? How did you get your size?...
I usually just say... I go to the gym every once in a while. Then people make comments of how much gear I'm using, even at work people notice... I just don't even know what to say to them..... I just smile, I can't lose my job by flipping out...
Truth is... Gear helps, no lie... You can 10 lbs in weeks, not years.. The thing is... It's MOTIVATION... Not how much oil is currently in your muscles being absorbed, and how much of the compound is in your blood... It's the dedication and time that's put in to even make it to the gym. It's the fact that we do it for free, for our own sake. There's no reward for this, except our own. Our reward is more euphoric than any type of drug that exists. Off or On.
We are different.. We FUCKING LOVE TO LIFT SHIT, AND GROW. WE ARE IN LOVE WITH THE NATURE OF THE HUMAN BODY... And that's the fucking truth. It's not all about who we look good to, who we can impress, who we can get laid by.... yeah, it helps. But if that was the case, we'd stop when women already saw us as above average... but we don't stop.
I absolutely agree that the gear helps, no doubt. See, for me this is a life style. I live it and love it. This is the only real way I can manage my stress in a productive manner and it's been like that since I was a teen.
I've poured my heart and soul into this. Training, eating, researching. I researched training and nutrition way before gear. When I had the slightest inclination that I was going to use, I researched the gear aspect for a solid year before even touching a syringe. People really short change themselves when the aas is there sole reliance for making gains. It just frustrates me to no end. Most of the time I let it roll off my shoulders, but in my sour mind frame I just had to bitch. Training is what I love, even a few weeks off from the gym is going to be killer on my mind
.
all the more reason to work out at odd hours in the gym.. stares and people gazing and then
talking to there friends about what your doing that they "cant" or what ever, is the whole reason
I stopped using a gym I really loved.. I have found one that I am going to hit up come winter..
there open 24-7-365.. going to be in there at night.. when NO ONE is in the place but
me..
Yeah, the 'mom and pop' gym I go to is great. I grew up in that place. I truly can't get a good lift in anywhere else. Was just a hot, rough week and I wanted to hit a gym that had a/c so I ended up at an LA Fitness. Last time I'll make that mistake
I train in the zombie hours when nobody is around. Or maybe just one other person. It makes a big difference for me.... But the gym isn't that well equipped...but having nobody bothering me or asking me what I'm up to helps me tremendously regardless of how good the gym is or not.
Unfortunately I usually work the zombie hours, so training during that time is not an option, or else I definitely would. Nothing better than a solid work out solo, with the weights and the right playlist on the ipod
