+ 3 HITTING BLOOD VESSELS WHEN INJECTING
I saw a forum post the other day where one of our members was pretty freaked out about hitting a blood vessel during injection and seeing blood all over the floor.
First the amount of blood on the floor looks like a lot but in actuality it isn't much at all. It can be scary the first time it happens to you, but it really isn't a big deal.
These is no rhyme or reason to it as it could happen on your very first injection, or not at all. However lets look at the causes of it.
The more frequently you inject a site, the more likely you are to hit a blood vessel! This happens because each injection causes trauma and damage to the site.
As the body tries to heal these sites, blood vessels form; hence the higher risk of hitting one. I've had frequent squirters from glutes over the years. It doesn't bother me; I just try to stop the bleeding as fast as I can.
In order to prevent hitting blood vessels, try to rotate injection sites as much as possible. As mentioned above if you inject a spot you hit a few days ago, you are a lot more likely to hit a vessel. Even if you don't you should encounter a more painful injection as the area has not healed yet.
You know as a bodybuilder using AAS we go through a lot more pain than people know. The average person simply thinks “Well of course he's ripped he takes juice”.
Little do the realize the PIP, the injuries to tendons from the extra weight we push, and a hundred other things we suffer to look like we do.
Add to your list the fact that if you do this long enough you will squirt some blood at one time or another.
Oh the joys of this lifestyle! The joy is in the results! A little blood never killed anybody!

I often spray blood like an anime character when I pin my delts
Not surprising; just try tot stop the bleeding quick!
Done it once....top of my thigh.
Aspirated as I always do and there was no blood,so I went ahead and injected the oil and when I pulled out a big stream of blood came right after.
I instantly shit myself and panicked and just sat waiting to drop dead lol.....still waiting.
You'll wait a long time! I'm sure sooner or later it will happen again, but you will be prepared to live! lol
Done this numerous times. Comes with experience and number of pins. You'll more likely do it with short esters that you need to pin more often and in rotating injection sites. The quad is imo the worst of the worst when it comes to hitting anything, vessel, vein or nerve
Preach it brother
Of course! lol
