finastride off cycle ?

Hi guys
What's the best way to use/dose finastride off cycle?
Reason being is my hhair has started to thin noticeably
I've used dht drugs in most my cycles..
Is there any sides with this med?

1mg daily is what my doc prescribed. Working well
