WHAT!?!?! feeling like a looser,,, quite the opposite my friend, after a hard workout or just getting results makes me feel amazing almost high like.. i called it feeling like a GOD... It not a waste of time if you are getting bigger lol..i love the sport..people say i'm addicted to it.. but, in my mind im dedicated. anything less would be shameful for me.. besides bro you are prob feeling some estrogen sides lol j.k
russel12Ahahaha mate I just got blood work done m not sad or anything but just stressed !! I used to get bigger for sports but now I am getting big for nothing! What bodybuilding is not a sport my bro.
"What bodybuilding is not a sport my bro." try telling that shit to the PROs it takes more dedication, drugs, and science than any other sport I've seen.. walk into a Barnes and Nobles go buy a flex magazine or MD that shit is going to be on the sports section... if you are getting big for nothing then don't.. i do bodybuilding for many reasons, stress release for 2hrs all im focus on is sets and reps, appearance, i like being in good shape and being noticed when i go places i dont want to be just a regular joe walking around, ,also keep my mind busy, i rarely get sick.. so there's many reason for it you just need to find yours.
the reason u feel like that is because u used to have a reason to getting big (fighting) and now u dont, its perfectly natural. Just find some sort of sport bro, or go back to fighting. i understand where ur coming from, no reason to get big unless ur into a sport and obviously bodybuilding is not an appealing sport to u. u need something else.
russel12M glad finally someone really understood what I am going through! ! Thanx bro thanx alot
Anonwe try to get big because we love it. You can't do it for anyone but yourself. Bodybuilding whether professional or recreational is a selfish endeavor, driven by self gratification and self improvement. Do bodybuilding because you love it, not because you need to be cheered or given attention. Do it for yourself bro. Or go back to your lil fight club, do whatever the fuck you wanna do, make sure you love it tho!!!
Very well said. We have to do what makes us happy. If we're not, take the time to reevaluate and try something new. Being happy and content takes work. Best of luck.
who needs a club to fight??
Rustyhookerrule #1 to fight club.....
Mike1982We don't talk about fight club hahahaha
Anonthere are no rules!
russel12I do lol
Is this for real? You fuckin with us? Ill assume you're not and entertain you.
Young buck, you are waaaaay off in your thinking. First, forgive my grammar Nazi style but its one O. "Loser"! And you sound like you're doing this for all the wrong reasons. The main goal should be health and well being! Always!!!! Being big ,strong and sexy as fuck is a byproduct. A side effect. That's how I see it anyway. I used to wreck bodybuilders. I thought it was the most ridiculous waste of time in the world. I would size them up and convince myself I was more of a man because I was confident that I could put that big fucker to sleep! All that means dick! I was a boxer! I miss it every day! It's fucking depressing sometimes. I felt like I had a purpose. Fighting made my soul happy. When I had to walk away from it I turned to bodybuilding. And I started to feel better , look better , and I started really paying attention to my body. Instead of beating it up I'm getting it checked constantly. With the blood panels I'm able to tell what I'm doin wrong or right and what I need to adjust to be in optimum health.
As for feeling like a loser because they dont compliment you? Why do you need compliments to feel good about yourself? What made you get into fighting? And then bodybuilding? What happened to you that made you want to be big and intimidating? I can tell you why I started fighting. Well it's in my blood line but my uncle took me to the gym and started to train me because I got my ass kicked when I was 10 by a bully that I was scared to death of. I was so scared that I didn't hit him back while he was pounding me. So what happened to you? You have an inferiority complex my man. That's why you seek approval and compliments. You should do this for you! For your health and well being. It's a lifestyle. Dropping out of college, not being able to hold down a job. Being hooked on drugs or just a lazy welfare baby scum bag,......these are reasons to feel like a loser. At least you're doing something constructive and positive.
Just a side note. We don't measure a man by the side of him bro. That's a primitive, juvenile way of thinking. Something is missing in your life. You have some void to fill. Remember this. Boys do what they want to do. Men do what they have to. That's how I measure a man!
Lifting weights helps fill the void that exists when you get to old or are forced to retire because of injury. You could take up sitting in front of a tv drinking beer and eating pizza. Now that's a loser! Being strong and heathy is a noble thing to do, being big is the by-product. Going to the gym to get a little stronger each day, or to eat a little bit better everyday is a life style with honor.
russel12Wel I started fighting when I was 7!! My dad put me into boxing! Coz as he told me that we are born warriors thats what my family name represent warrior ! Thats what I hve been told since I was a little kid pride honor etc.. and now I feel guilt coz I think I was born to fight! I felt like shit when I used to train every day for fighting thaikavandoo! Now I feel way better! But that guilt is killing me! I applied for army allready!! Eo I can live with that pride and honor that my family told me a warrior should have! It may sound weird to you guyz but its totally not for me!!
RustyhookerTime for your big assed wake up! Here it goes.....ready for it? MAN THE FK UP!!!!
If your dream and joy if FIGHTING the fk the bodybuilding. There is no overtraining. Get your ass back in the ring and do it!!! Don't lise your dreams or realky feel like a PUss loser sometime in future....and it does NOT go away.
Get some!
russel12Thanx man thia really was the wakeup call! I called my coach allready he thinks he can still take me back :-)
RustyhookerNever give up your drean. You'll kick yourself. You can bbuild later in life when the young studs are faster in the ring. Be that hardcore Buffed Gpa!
So working out doesn't make you feel good? Doesn't give you confidence? You dont get a buzz everytime you see your lifts go up or when somebody compliments how your improving? Because thats why i go to the gym
russel12Bro I have been working out since my childhood!! Yes I do feel good but m missing something! I used to train to get more muscular so I can do good at my sports now i am traning for what? Look good?
Yeah I don't feel like a loser but then again I am quite a bad mofo...a bit of a stud if you will :)! Why feel like a loser if you chose to body build instead of fight? Go back to fighting if that makes you not feel like one. But I honestly think emotions and feelings have nothing to do with what we do on the outside as much as what we perceive on the inside.
See in that above quote is your answer "people used to cheer for you." So if they did that still because you are big then you would not feel like a loser.
A more superior way than this and it is hard to achieve and very few ever have imo is this. Learn to not derive your self worth and importance from what you look like or fighting. But instead by the type of honor and integrity that you display. Then even if you lose the outside abilities your strength to know your something will remain. Just my .02.
BigBmajYou are such a fucking stud. ;). I'm cheering for you over here.
I have had the thought - "I'm big now what?" But then I realize I'm still not big. I know it's not a healthy way to think, but it came about when my friend pointed out how easy it was to kick my ass, eventho I'm 40 lbs heavier and much stronger.
It looks like OP is thinking about things in terms of praise. Never a really good approach. I do it because I love the process not the end result. Because there is no end.
