My attorney told me x wives would do the same!

It depends...one ex wife and maybe the risk is small, more than one and the risk rises exponentially....

Is this your prescribing doctor or just the one running blood work for you?

Keep donating blood as regularly as possible.....

Keep hydrated
Krill oil supps
Garlic oil capsules
Beetroot juice.....lowers blood pressure.
Celery seed extract or Celery sticks also keeps blood pressure in check

Most important is hydration mate

Testosterone will kill you. Low testosterone will kill you. Breathing will kill you, not breathing will kill you. 2 seconds after you were born,........... you started to die.

Life sucks, hurry up and die so I can have the most toys.

He probably told you that and then went on a smoke break.

My doctor says the same thing....that's his job. Testosterone will not kill you as long as you respect the drug and use common sense.

Get a new Dr.

You do know taking a lot of steroids does raise your likely hood of heart attack and stroke by quite a lot, So he s probably been given this message from research papers and is just warning you that its a high possibility if you keep going this way. though i don't know how many cycles you ve done.

Pale's picture

Testosterone by itself is not proven to do any more harm than what having low testosterone would

kibby's picture

Exactly mate.....it all boils down to steroid abuse.Which is the case when any drug is abused eventually the abuse takes its toll on the body

Quality life vs slowly dying miserably. Already made my choice.

Im saying if you take high amounts of steroids you have a greater chance of having heart attacks by the reasoning when you do take steroids your heart enlarges, bodybuilders they have found dead in the pass have enlarged hearts. But having low testosterone isn't good at all either you get a wide range of issues.

Though let me add their isn't a direct link found right now (scientifically) but you can pretty much see it.

kibby's picture

I think the "direct link" is exercise mate.

People who train hard/exercise hard basicly more active than the average person all have enlarged hearts to some extent.

People are quick to piont the finger at someone who drops dead of a heart attack if he's a big guy who trains....STEROIDS........

Sounds more like a side effect from a ridiculous amount of growth hormone and igf.

Ozninjaguy's picture

That's called anecdotal evidence...no scientific basis, but IMO it's reasonable. Didn't Arny have a heart attack while doing Mr Freeze in the Batman movie? A gym owner I knew who was late 40's and huge dropped dead in our gym - cardiac arrest. Could be coincidence but could also be a causal relationship between Test (a hormone - not a drug) and heart disease. I guess that if there is a link then it might be based on volume of Test used and over what period of time. The OP's doc is just doing what he is paid to do - advising his patient on his use of Test. However not all Docs are negative towards Test supplementation.
