+ 5 Don't pre fill the pins!

ad

So I learned a few days ago not to pre fill the pins. Idk if any of you have thought about this but the reasons behind it is.. The compound in the viles will eat away at the rubber inside the pin plus it's also more likely to get bacteria in it since it isn't 100 percent sealed. Yeah it can save pins by doing this but would you rather take a chance at getting a painful infection? This might be over thinking but would you rather over think or not think hard about this?

Compounds that contain bb and guicol and similar chemicals will slowely eat away at the rubber plunger in the syringe. By injecting this you run a high risk of getting an infection.
EO and guaicol (which is in anti-freeze) melts the stoppers.
Anyways hope this helps some of you out there be careful and most of all stay safe!!

Does anybody remember about 15 yrs ago sustanon used to come in pre filled syringes I think it was Organo don't think they offer them like that anymore

aussiedan's picture

they still make bayer primoteston (test enanthate) pre filled 1ml syringes here in AUS.

Roid Noid's picture

yeah your not supposed to but ive done full 12 weeks cycles layed out in prefilled pins

Crewkid93's picture

How did it effect the gear? Did the pip get worse?

mujeriego's picture

What happens if you filter it? I've had some npp (pretty sure it has EO in it) sitting in 10 ml syringes for a couple of weeks waiting for vials to come in so I could transfer it. Gear didn't come in vial to hide from customs. Going to filter it into vials tomorrow.

TheFlash85's picture

I know exactly what your saying bro, ive been there!! 3 weeks would be fine! any longer is a risk, I got sachets a while ago and just pre filled the needles, when I got toward the end of cycle I was getting concerned, what I did was take it and put it under a very bright light! yep the oil had a darker tinge than normal, it was from the rubber stopper! bin!!

mujeriego's picture

Yeah sucks a bit for us hey? I don't keep the pins at home so I gotta go check them. But last time I had a looked a couple of days ago it was fine so should be good. I got the vials now so just gotta filter it in.

Crewkid93's picture

I know what you mean I had to do the same. Should have just left it in the sachets. Well some gear is different like that. I've tested powertrips sus by leaving it in a syringe for 1 week and the rubber stopper like melted then I left BD matrix sus in there for about 7 weeks and it was perfectly ok.

mujeriego's picture

Thanks. I know I should of left it. Got impatient and didn't even thing about it. Gonna check to see if the rubber stopper has dissolved at all. Hopefully it's still good

Don't get the "saving pins" thing. When they are so readily available, everywhere. Though, I used to prepare the night before sometimes, and won't again after reading this. Cheers brother :-)

Crewkid93's picture

Lol it was just a statement but yeah I had a buddy who didn't listen to me after I told him all this and he got an infection.. I laughed literally..

DoctorDaz's picture

Evil man! :-)

Crewkid93's picture

Hey shoulda listened to me ;) lol

Not your fault jomama .. the guy that did is at fault and has been dealt with.... sorry about this hassle on your first day here day here.. everything should be smooth for you from now on Smile

I've pre loaded and stored for up to 3 or 4 days for trips and never had a problem. I don't think I'd preload anything unnecessarily though for the same reasons you've mentioned.

bigbeezie12's picture

Thank you for this very informative post brother! i actually about did this last night.

Enyeart's picture

i dont think its worth it to try to preload syringes to save a bit of time aside from using it in that day. preloading it for a few hours or something is different than weeks. it does not take that much of your time to have to do that. besides, you want to make sure everything is fresh and sterile as possible each time. i make sure to use a new needle to draw and shoot each time. it may not be always necessary but its too cheap not to take this extra step.

Enyeart's picture

When preloading, make sure your gear doesn't contain EO, or if it does, that your plunger is NOT made of rubber

Doss's picture

you'll want to be careful doing that novi.. i got a slight infection that resembled cellulitis from reusing my drawing needle. everything was sanitary, except that drawing needle got reused. even if you wipe the shaft of the needle with an alcohol swab, oils still remain within the barrel as well as the port. this oil is not bacteriostatic, so it can support the growth of bacteria. drawing up the bacteria then injecting can lead to bacterial infection. for me, this sucked... could barely move my delts for almost a week.

thinktank's picture

Agreed! I also learned the hard way with a slight infection on my quads. One and Done. One to draw, one to pin, new syringe every time. You can get a box of 100 syringes and pins for under $25. No need to take the risk.

Doss's picture

I didn't even notice it. Prolly someone under 50, cuz I don't think it even effected me.

Doss's picture

Sometimes I accidentally hit the neg button when scrolling with my phone. When I catch it, I try to correct it. Sometimes, I'm sure I miss them. No big deal.

Crewkid93's picture

Thank you for the proof brother. I'd rather get a fresh draw needle every time to not risk it.

Doss's picture

not trying to discredit novice. he's a very knowledgeable guy and loves to help other people. i used to do exactly what he described here. then it caught up with me. i know it wasn't the oils because i switched oils and pinned the other delt. got the same thing. switched drawing needles and went back to the original oil and no issue since. besides, at $0.18 a piece, why not switch them out?

Doss's picture

So many different environments; so many variables; there's really no telling. I can tell you that I don't wanna go thru what I went thru again. Trial and error. Happens again, and I'll try to rule out something else.

Crewkid93's picture

I know you weren't but some people aren't as smart as him nor have they been as lucky.

Crewkid93's picture

How do you use the same pin to draw out for a month!? How do you keep bacteria off of it entirely so that your gear is still 100% good.

Pale's picture

The only way I could see doing it is if I was traveling. Fill a syringe or two with enough to make it a week.

Warmachine's picture

How would you save on pins by pre filling them. Like monsteronjuice says the only real advantage is knowing how much gear you truly have.... I do agree on not doing it. I was just wondering what you meant?

Crewkid93's picture

Some people but them with the needles already on them. From sources not affiliated with this site. Yeah you never know how much gear you truly have. But would you rather risk knowing how much gear to the dot you have or an infecting or your rubber stopper melting off into your gear? Not all gear melts btw so you can get away with some.

Warmachine's picture

Nah man ... Like Big Viking says man pins are freakin pennies compared to your health... Good on ya for the post

Doss's picture

this may explain your sudden pain post injection...

monsteronjuice's picture

I don't prefill syrings anymore but back in the day, it saved me alot of stress...when you plan to run a 16 week cycle but your bottles are all short and end up with 8 ml or 81/2 ml instead of 10 in a bottle. I plan on using 4 bottles of test one cycle and all a sudden they were all short, next thing i know I was 7 1/2 cc short of test. 13 weeks in my cycle and all out of test. that is 3 weeks short what i wasn't expecting. That threw off my oral as a finsiher and everything. Now a days I try to always buy more then needed to cover all the shortage that may come. never buy exactly what you think you need....... I musy say you will always get underfilled or exactly filled, never expect to be overfilled in a vial. Be smart and plan for these type of things. just my 2 cents

haez91's picture

What do you mean save pins ? Why would you prefill anyways ?

dak979's picture

In my case, sometimea my friends pick up cycles from me. Say someone needs 13mL of test. I give them a vial and draw with a pin 3mL from another vial. So basically they are storing 3mL in a syringe, and they empty 1mL from it everytime they need to pin.

Hope I made sense.

Another thing: my hcg is pregnyl 1500iu, powder and solvent in different ampoules. When i mix, i have 100ius of HCG. So i draw it all into an insulin pin which i keep in the fridge, and i take 20iu from it twice a week.

haez91's picture

The HCG one made sense but the Test one mind fucked me lol got lost on that sorry bro
