Just a quick note to remind all of you about common courtesy.
I don't get pissed often, but if you'd like an Xtra large slice of humble pie, one way to get it served up by me is to belittle, criticize, ridicule, or otherwise degrade someone who took the courageous step to post pics of themselves here on eroids. NOTHING gets my dander up quicker than that, and if you'd like to play the dog-game, I can stand toe-to-toe with the best. I ejaculate over it.
I don't care WHAT someone looks like, putting them down only shows how SMALL you are---mentally, and probably physically. If you wanna be a troll, go to You Tube with the rest of them, because you won't last long here. It's OK to give constructive advice, but insulting people won't be tolerated. That is a MAJOR pet peeve with me. Nobody here is any better than anyone else. And if you're a contender for the next Mr. Olympia, you STILL started out small.
And remember...there are a lot of guys here who have different goals and agendas...including some 135 pound MMA fighters who just might be capable of SMOKING your 220 pound ass.
99.9% of you guys are fantastic and get that...and I appreciate it.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a pic of myself and thought it was the best pic I've seen of myself, so I posted it. Now after seeing this post I've decided to let my balls drop, had my gf take some shots and I'm about to post them. I somewhat welcome criticism.

Im not a modest man by any means. But I have to be honest. It took a lot for me to put that first pic up.
I applaud anyone that puts themselves out there! I have always had very low self confidence. I use to hide this fact with arrogance. My old man who is now passed pulled me to the side one day and told me confidence is an amazing trait to have but when it turns to arrogance its the ugliest trait a man can carry.
It shook me! So needless to say i tend to show the real me a whole lot more.... Being real is so much harder than being fake. I think that separates men from the boys. I thank god my old man let me have it that day...

BigBmajWe also have an obligation to tell people they are running crazy cycles for the way they are looking. I see people encouraging crazy amounts of gear to people who aren't ready. Telling someone who weighs 300 lbs with 25% body fat to run a bunch of tren, clen, t3, etc... is a much shittier thing than telling me I look like shit.
I know there are popular people here and many alliances are formed but we need to have some decency to say "shit bro that's just plain too much for you". Friends tell each other when to slow the fuck down.
I don't give a fuck what you tell me I look like. Or how it comes out. But if you tell me to take 1000 mgs of tren and you are aware of my blood pressure concerns that's just plain shitty.
I saw a skinny guy on here saying he was running 50 IU of slin and no one said anything. We all know who this is and he ended up in the hospital a few days later with blood sugar problems. Not saying anything about how totally nuts that was is much worse than telling me I'm a skinny little bitch.
Feel free to criticize the hell out of me I can handle it. And I don't care how it comes out. Just don't tell me to kill myself with 50 x's more juice than I need.
In general, it's not cool to put someone down who has the guts to post pics of themselves and we ought to be supportive of helping others reach their goals. On the other hand, if a claim is made that isn't self evident, it's expected people will get called out on it.
It seems that it's like pulling a tooth to get some people to just say something nice to someone. Does it really kill you to say "Nice job, bro" or "Good going, brother" to someone who takes a risk to put up a pic? Thumbs up to this post.

I have posted several times on peoples forums who post pictures up of themselves and then 2-3 insecure dirtbag asshole's have the nerve to critice the person and bring them down. I always flip out and state my mind on how if you dont have anything positive or motivational to say to that person then do not write a response. Now i am not saying that real constructive criticism is a bad thing i actually think it is a great thing. When i post forums or cycle logs i actually say please let me know what you guys think and if i need tweaking or have missed something please do not hesitate to correct me so i can fix what i may have missed and correct my cycle to be on point. It is just when people for no reason write comments simply to hurt and put the person down because they have nothing better to do and most likely they are extremely insecure about themselves and feel the need to put people down just to make themselves feel better about themselves which is total B.S. to me.

One thing to keep in mind is that guys who post self-pics do so not necessarily to impress anyone, but rather to keep a personal record of where they are---and where they want to go. We can all help them do that by giving them constructive advice, rather than tearing them down.

I could not agree more bro, I love seeing pics posted..... If someone takes the time to post up pics, that just means they are working hard for there goals... If someone has a problem with the pic, just means they are jealous of that person.... Doesnt matter if they are massive or small, they are WORKING FOR THAT SHIT......

I would NEVER think of posting my pic, but after reading this, I actually find it easier to stomach the idea of posting up progress pics. See I had back surgery, and gastric bypass and I'm overly self conscious about all of my excess skin and scars and don't think I could handle a bunch of dudes ripping on me about it. Great post.

Constructive criticism is good...I LOVE getting crticized about my pics. I agree that there are a lot of guys here who use steroids who really should put some serious time in a gym first.
But it's all in the delivery....using diplomacy.
And if you fail to be diplomatic, I'm going to delete the post you took the time to write.

yeh..gothic i know your cool..and we are on the same page...i wish when i was younger i would have listened more then just go with my ideas..i messed up my natural testerone from doing cycles in early 20's now.at 32 years of age with all blood work twice a year with scores in 100 in testerone...The younger ones are wasting good results from going natural until older. i havent touched any gear in 4 years until this recent one am in now...i see the advice you give and is great information i wish alot of people would listen more..i know i wished i did...your a good dude gothic

Theres nothing wrong with constructive criticism, but when people go over board than thats where the line must be drawn, Im not here to argue with anyone but i will say this, I dont know anyone here personally and it takes alot of guts to put some of these pics on here , not everyones bodies are the same and there might be people on here that have really tried to lose weight and maybe the way there bodies function such as thighroid problems have caused them to gain alot of weight. I agree that you should have a great deal of time in the gym before using steroids to try and reach your full potential, but there can be numerous factors that may bring people to the use of steroids except being big as fuck. Im not trying to compete nor do I ever expect to, I just want to look hot as shit without all the muscle waisting i have naturally. I do have reasons I cant gain muscle the way you do so do alot of others on here, we shouldnt feel insulted just because we want the same things in our life. i do under stand you have to work hard to achieve things you want but what if all you want is your body to act natural and have a healthy sex drive. What if you want your energy back as you havent the strive that you use to. beavisYes, alot of people probably don't belong here. I myself just chime in here and there as the few cycles I have done have been very simple. However I do spend at least a couple of hours in here everyday and have been doing so for the past several months to gain knowledge from you guys who do know alot more than me through experience. I have done a ton of research but believe experience trumps research in alot of cases for me.

As I'm cruising though this forum, I found this post, which really interested me. My wife & I have a standing joke "we are definitely not 20 anymore!" Along with that comes my motivation to be more diligent at the gym & change my appearance to the world. Earlier this year my daughter posted a picture of me on a her social network page, well to say the least it embarrassed me and I asked her to take it down. I realize that was my own vanity. Well I'm pleased that my efforts are producing results. I'm not where I want to be but everybody has to start somewhere. It is posts like this that help me to get over that trepidation to show how bad it got in a before picture.
Short version, I have asked my daughter for some of the before pics & I will be posting these before too long. The other side of this was seeing those pics were actually a dose of reality for me. Thanks 7gothic for this post
I give you my up most respect for this post, I use to be embarrassed of how skinny I was, it would get to the point where i would get angry with my own insecurities, those moments in my life I got aggravated was my motivation to do something about it. I will never critisize anyone for trying to better themselves. We all have our reasons for being here. Who am i to judge anyone for wanting a better life and taking an initiative to get what is rightfully theirs......happyness.
