Hey all. So I took a long break from anabolics and just getting back in the game. I decided to just run a beginner 500mg of test e a week and am obviously responding phenomenally. At week 6, 2.5 days after a pin, here are my test and estradiol levels. I'm taking aromasin e3d. I was having some mood and water retention issues so I started taking aromasin at week 4.

Total test: 2955
Free test: 973
Estradiol: 42

I also just started hcg right after bloods so I'm assuming it'll jump up a bit more too. I'll gets labs again in 4 more weeks to check estradiol and hematocrit levels that are 55%, trying to lower that number. I also live at altitude and hema has always been on the higher side.

In your opinion, what would you aim to keep your estrodiaol levels at with these given numbers. Up aromasin to every other day given I started hcg and try to lower the 42 number? Still have a bit more water retention than I'd like and I can have bitchy mood swings at times.

I appreciate your input as back in the day, when I was young and dumb, I never gave a shit about labs. Now, I certainly aim to keep my markers in check during blasts and cruises and educate myself more.

Thanks!

Would you go as far as cutting out all aromasin? Or keep maybe 6.25mg e3d since I just started the hcg this week, and that may shoot estro up a bit. I'll try one of those two and run labs again in 4 weeks.

Appreciate your input!

Personally I’d like E2 to be a wee bit higher, especially if bulking. But if you feel amazing at 42, just keep the status quo and enjoy the ride. Definitely don’t try and drop it further.

Appreciate the feedback dude. Maybe my hcg will bump those numbers up and I'll see how I like the higher estro levels. I don't feel too off or anything. Just more water retention than I'd like. Thanks!

If the water retention is to the point of causing BP issues, then yes fix it. But being a little fluffier looking is no big deal especially if you’re bulking. E2 is highly anabolic. So higher levels, within reason, is conducive to a successful bulk.

I have a hard time believing, or prescribing to, the bell curve ranges of hematocrit levels. As you said, you live a high altitude. I believe people who live in Denver are out of the reference range 24/7 even if they’re not on gear. Then what about people like those that live in the Himalayan mountains at higher elevations than Denver. I’d bet their hematocrit levels are way out of range too.

BP is dialed in at 117/80. So I'm probably good for the time being. Yeah my hematocrit here at 6,000ft was 51% on no gear, drinking 1.75 gallons of water a day, very active lifestyle. So I believe my 55% isn't bad at all. I added in ip6 and electrolytes and will retest in a month. If that doesn't work I'll dump blood for a piece of mind. I did read a study about males living above 4,000 meters and their average hematocrit was 58%. So the bell curve certainly doesn't factor in that.
