All right so I recently just lost my insurance provider and my family doc's trying to charge 400 for blood work.
My question is how much do Private labs cost on average or what would be the best route to get bloods done that won't cost a fortune.

Alot of private labs will do financing as well depending on your credit at least they do around my area. It’s really the way to go I pay $50 a month. You can get basic labs pretty cheap but it won’t include liver and kidney values which is the important part for me
From where I come from doc will never send you to do bloods unless you’re dying. Have to use private labs so I feel your pain. Good luck anyway

What the cost?
If your looking for just a hormone panel run the female . It caps at 1500 on the test. Cheap like 69 bucks If you are running any 19 nors there is a new one that has prolactine in the test so the nor's wont jack up the estro results. Is around 100. I usually do that and a wellness check gets cholesterol, kidney , and liver function for another 100.

I use healthonelabs.com only because of where i live privatemedlabs isnt allowed. But I would assume they work the same. You go online, select the test you want, they give you a list of participating labs nearest you. Select one. Pay, then print out your lab order. I call ahead to make an appt. But I could also just show up. Give them your order, they draw what is needed and in a few days I get results in an email.
