+ 1 Anyone know a good and serious way to clean the liver?

ad

Hey Guys ,

Been in a rut for a few years drinking way too much and been unmotivated to lift and work out too much and yes I know it's from the drinking. I have some tudca etc . But really looking for something to flush this damn thing out as good as possible. Maybe someone on here know some ancient flush or cure lol. Alex Periera the UFC fighter said he was drinking 750ml a day and he met some old guy that gave him a old recipe to flush it. And yes I know I gotta get off the booze . Had blood work about 3 months ago and my enzymes weren't too high actually somehow.

Any help would be awesome
Mac

LIV 52 (syrup if you can), TUDCA, & Glutathione (inj if you can) for the liver. Ibogaine for the alcoholism. You got it bro!

I actually think that AAS are way worse for the liver than being a regular drinker every day of the week. Now that doesn't include being a Hardcore alcoholic where you are drinking neat Vodka or whiskey all day long I might add LOL I never drank neat spirits, but I did drink Vodka and a mixer all day long for many years and although my urine was basically orange/brown all the time - I never got liver or stomach pains from drinking. Running AAS on the other hand, I have had the chronic liver pains which landed me in Hospital with steroid induced Hepatitis. I think buying the most effective supplments singularly and making sure you take the correct doses of each is much more effective and cost effective than buying the all in one products you can get, where often the doses included in them are not enough to be effective at cleansing the liver. TUDCA is great but I simply cannot stand the taste of it, so my go to's are Artichoke Extract (does the same thing as TUDCA), Astragalus Root (Great for the liver too and better than Milk Thistle) Choline Bitartrate and Inositol. There are many others like 1g Vitamin C tabs, Glutamine, NAC but I like to stick to those main ones.

What gear were you running? Everything I've learned says most injectables are pretty mild on the liver (test, primo, mast, deca, EQ...)

The Tren Ace and Dianabol were the toxic steroids that no doubt caused it. The ones you have mentioned there cause very little problems if any to the liver.

You gotta attack it from all angles, brother. There’s no magic pill for liver health … it’s about stacking the right tools plus dialing in lifestyle.
For me, it’s a mix of supps, hydration (minimum a gallon a day; ideally a gallon and a half IMHO for a 220lb guy like me, for example), and keeping oxidative stress low:

NAC + TUDCA … Absolute staples. NAC naturally boosts glutathione production, and TUDCA helps keep bile flow and liver enzymes under control, especially on harsher cycles.
Milk thistle and turmeric … solid antioxidants, but think of them as support, not the main fix. Choline, beetroot, and dandelion are also great for detox pathways and overall liver metabolism.
Glutathione (injectable or not) … absolute game-changer if you can get quality stuff. It helps reduce oxidative stress from heavy PED use.
Glycine and zinc … both support methylation and recovery, and zinc plays a key role in balancing liver enzymes.

And here’s the off-label angle nobody talks about enough: low-dose RETATRUTIDE ed . It stabilizes blood glucose, improves insulin sensitivity, and indirectly eases liver stress by reducing fat accumulation and inflammation. For anyone pushing gear hard, that’s huge for protecting long-term health.

Also… hydration + lifestyle matter way more than people want to admit. Stay on top of electrolytes, don’t drown your liver in garbage food, and control inflammation. Put all that together, and you’re not just keeping your liver “okay” … you’re optimizing recovery and performance.

About the dosage of every single thing I mentioned here, you gotta find your own tolerance and what works best for you. Don’t just copy a random protocol you find online … what works for me won’t necessarily work for you.

But you got this. Good luck, brother man!

Been taking a liver detox/cleanse for almost a decade and i get my values checked every 6 months. I also drink every weekend, and my values are always in range because i take the supplement 4-5 days a week.
Go on Amazon and get any liver detox/cleanse that has NAC, with Milk Thistle , Turmeric, Choline, Dandelion & L-Glutathione, zinc. Almost every liver detox/cleanse on amazon has all those all in one. Also, beef liver supplements are great too. Good luck.

Just don’t bank on the regeneration thing too much and get your shit in order as fast as you can. My uncle was a somewhat big drinker, not an alcoholic from what I remember though. But when it was party time he could crush the beers. Can’t remember if he would have any after work on week days though. But he quit drinking in his early 40s and really turned things around. for the last 25 years of his life he was a fitness nut. Ran or biked miles every day, lifted a few times a week. Just super active. He Ate a super clean diet. He retired at 67, then got liver cancer at 68 and was gone just a few months later.

Idk if his drinking from his teens to early 40s contributed to liver cancer 25 years later. Seems like a long time after he quit. But idk.

How old were you when you had a heart attack? What was the cause of it?

Machinegunmac's picture

I was 43. Probably it was drinking too much. I woke up and was wobbly fell down 3 times and busted my head open and I'm pretty sure I went in shock. My heart rate got out of whack and was 280 bpm when I finally went to the ER 4 hours later

If he knows of a not so well known extra effective method of cleaning the liver why isn't he just saying what it is? It's not like it's the secret to eternal life or something.
