Adonis Effect

ad

I was reading an article about the Adonis effect, apparently since the beginning of times when men were hunters and gathers a person was defined by the proportions of muscle they had. When I talk about proportions I'm talking about chest, waist and hip ratio. According to the Greek mythology in order to have to perfect body, you would have to have what is called the golden ratio. Since the beginning of times women with nice hips and body resembled fertility and men with well proportioned body's represented, strength, power, virility and good hunters gathers.

This ratio is used for guys that all wanting to increase sex appeal, we all would love more attraction or attention from the opposite sex. Here's a basic understanding of Adonis effect without getting too in depth, measure your chest( fullest part) to waist ratio(smallest part of torso) just below your belly button, then measure your buttocks(fullest part) and record your numbers. Divide your waist measurement into your chest measurement to see how you stack up!Then divide your waist into your hip size and see how your stack up!

The actual number that your trying to achieve is approximately 1 to 1.618, just an example if your chest is 48 and your waist is 32 your measurement would be 1.5. At this point you would know what you work on in the gym to increase your effect!

These measurements were used to sculpt statues in Greece and even with plastic surgery, to determine the perfect structures for face and body. This index is used with a little psychology and mathematical dimensions.

Our eyes as humans are set up a way where we look for proportions both male and female, without even knowing it.

Just for fun what how do you stack up with the Aldonis Effect? Do you believe in the dimensions?

Without a doubt symmetry plays a part at the level of initial attraction.
"Initial" being the key word here. I would say most likely 20% of the actual initiation of potential mating...from that point on, once a guy opens his mouth it drops down to maybe 5-10% depending on what the womans actual intentions and values are.
Does the acquisition of the "Adonis" ideal deserve the #1 spot in a mans quest for kickassatry?...depends.
Mans #1 priority should be the development of his character, his commitment to his purpose, everything else is just scenery. Nothing wrong with seeking an adonis type ratio, just make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. No right, no wrong, only actions contributing to the development of actualization of ones goals/values, or the disintegration and moving away from his goals/values. And only we as an individual can assess this correctly in our own lives and recalibrate accordingly.
Just my 2 Billion worth.

I'm so sick of this Adonis ratio garbage. That's all these tools talk about. In my eyes, this ratio is a limitation being imposed on men from an era long fucking ago. I'm about proportionate mass. If I have a 1.5 or 1.7 ratio and I'm casting shadows on fitness models, I win in my eyes.

Just something I was reading bro, its the fact that If you are well proportioned women, are attracted more to you. A ratio is just a number, this is more for people who arent yet there, just to give an example of what they should work on in order to have a well rounded figure.
