+ 1 Eliminate some trolls
ad
I was thinking, and who knows I'm sure this have been looked at from all angles but could you make new accounts unable to comment for a period of time? It seems like people open an account and immediately ask stupid shit before reading anything. If they had say a week where they couldn't speak it might eliminate some troll accounts.
Another website I belong to had it set to where I had to read a certain number of threads before I was allowed to add comments. I have no idea how this was done, but it was a good idea.

I would go as far as to delete every account more than 6 months old with no stats or posts
Also to cut down on sleeper accounts as well
Good call. But there might be thousands, I'm not sure how many MODS we have. I'm guessing it's fairly easy to see who's active and who's not.
It's a great idea. I really don't think it matters how many MOD'S we have. It's not like they have do do it all in one day. If all of them pitch in and just keep deleting a few everyday we could keep chopping away at them. Because your right, there probably is 1000's. And I more it's growing everyday. So instead of just letting it grow, let's chop away at it a little everyday
And DEFINITELY the trolls. There is one asshole particular that all this guy does is flame, insult, harass and degrade people. Perfect example of a cyber bully. Probably one of them pussies who used to get wedgies in HS so now he get to act tough while hiding behind a keyboard. A perfect example of an asshole troll that needs to get banned.
Great idea you bring to the table mate. +1
3PUMPCHUMPSend them a general message from a mod or BFG inviting them to the site with a link to the rules with an emphasis on reading them!!! LIKE MAKE IT IN ALL CAPS MOTHERFUCKER.
Make them read all of the stickies before they are allowed to post.
Good idea but there's no possible way to know if they really read it or just clicked on it. That's the only problem. Most will just click it and lie and say they read it.
