+ 9 Spring EBC Top 5 winners
There will be some surprises here in that some did veeery well and didn't make the cut after 3 seperate rounds of judging,. In many cases looked so good coming in the "recomp" was very difficult and hard to achieve when compared to some that had so far to come and actually did.
Do not feel surpised if not in the top 5, I know some of you worked your hands to the bones and played some hard kitchen but you had some tough competition given total transfomation is key and not "finished product".
I want to thank our sponsors who give so much and support the community. Prize packages will soon be decided by a group unaffilaited with Eroids and its coordinators so as to make unbiased decisions and to disconnect Eroids from any contribution to the distribution process entirely. We put on a show for the community and the contestants go big and sponsors love that and we love them for stepping up!
As you know last EBC we had one of our judges get called to duty and another banned for reasons unrelated to EBC entirely. At that time it threw us in a pinch and slowed the process.
This round we had alternates in place. However, a very highly respected pick we have been waiting on to finsih up had some unfortunate circumstances call for much of their time. While this individuals judging was very important in my eyes we had to move on with the process.
3 rounds of judging takes place to get to the proper crew in the lead and then we have to work with ties that slow the process as well. In the end, as I made clear to all judges, we want the best possible outcome for the hard working contestants and that means if fine wine takes a little longer then we roll a little longer.
So after one judge unable to complete, another that fell short on finishing, we still had the magic 5 judges in the end and delivered a fair contest.
Let me compliment those of you who are the leader type who attempted to slow the runaway thoughts of a few. Let me also say to a few of you who make great armchair QB's.....you did well on the couch, stay comfy ; )
Point is, amazing judges on this panel, delivered as leaders of the community, worked long and hard on a lot of contestants. Each one of you were chose because you didn't have that armchair quarteback mentallity and because we knew you would deliver fair and unbiased results.. You all stepped up and I appreciate you greatly.
Special thanks to HPG for all of her help on this effort, which was huge and btw....HUGE MOTIVATION FOR SO MANY AROUND HERE AND WHO BETTER TO HELP WITH THE EFFORT. 4 shows including EBC since october of last year, can you say "pro tag" ; ) (2-1st places in there btw)
I want to Thank all of you who competed. You took it serious and pounded it out and some of you took the battle straight to the gates of hell (kitchen as I call it) to make it worth fighting for and it showed and we all got to share in your success.

shirlsguyI hate to put him out there, but naps told me he would ship the prize now, asked for a couple links, but you know naps.... e-z going, nice to deal with. Anyhow, had an order in and it was up to the award amount in the blink of an eye, so I did what any man would do, pleaded if he would apply the prize. Said 'yes'. Congrats everyone sorry im on here a little late to speak im super syced I woke my wife up at 4 in the am she thought someone was robbing the house lol and I get to rub it in my brothers face hahha he was like 200 bucks says you don't finish in the top five I cant wait to tell him I got first everyone did a great job and kept this thing tight im on cloud nine right now I still have 3 more inches left to go to get to my goal waist size and just cause its over doesn't mean im stopping Ive lost 13" off so far and im going to keep it going everyone else should keep going to don't let the end of this slow you down use it as motivation to keep on truckin I told hrdbdygrrl im gonna get first place for her and Kodiak and I did so big ups to her I didn't have any sponsers but she totally helped me out so I wanna really thank her for the help and like I said on another post Im sorry I wasn't more verbal with the ebc link I would have loved to socialize a little more but life had gotten so busy on me with my job being lost I had to struggle to keep my eroids family at the top of my list and it appears you guys kept me at the top of yours thanks guys love you all and thanks you for all the info and motivation this place has and gives its the body bibl........ your all the best !!!

I think the the reason some people were a little thrown off by the results is because there were sleepers in this one. Guys sitting in the dark corner just waiting for the moment. I didnt do a lot of checkin on the contestants but I didn't even know Monkey and he knocked out first and didnt know ex,anabolic. I guess I dont pay attention. These guys should be proud of themselves. They came outta nowhere. Except Angus I thought he was taking first for sure. That man was dedicated...breaking casts off his leg and shit for the final pics. Shirl made a awesome trans even though I wanted to choke him a few times after reading his rants but I don't know him so Im not gonna judge. We just cant take it personal. The winners are picked and they should all be damn proud. Im sure it wasn't a easy task judging and nobody is perfect. Im upset with myself cause I know I coulda pushed harder and ate better and screamed out those last couple reps but I didn't, but that gives me motivation for next time to take no prisoners and push myself to new limits that I wouldnt before cause I was tired or I hurt or i didnt feel like cooking for 2 hours when I wanna go to bed. We decide our destiny and this contest is evolving into something fierce. There ain't any gimme's anymore you gotta take that shit cause if you don't someone else will! Congrats everyone that finished and if you didn't do as well as you thought I hope this sparked a flame under your ass! Next time don't let the judges have a chance to question if your in the running make it easy on them and take it by a mile!
angusThank you for your optimism over my placement, I was seriously dedicated. When I didn't feel like pushing hard I would print out a picture of one of the contestants that I was afraid would beat me, take it to my gym and tape it right where I was going to be working out. All you guys that posted your progress pics motivated me and pushed me every day. I didn't give a shit if people thought I was a homo as long as I had that fire burning and driving me to succeed. I wanted the win, but someone else wanted it more than I did. I look back and try to determine how I could have been better just like you, but in the end it doesn't really matter, what matters is what we do tomorrow........that is the only thing we can change. I am happy enough to walk away with a bigger, better, badder body and use the EBC to springboard me into more challenges. In that aspect everyone came out a winner and I have nothing but respect for all those that had the courage to stand up and be scrutinized.........twice!
Well put Angus! That's what i've always loved about the EBCs the extra motivation to put out those couple extra here or there. No skipping workouts for any reason, because I knew somebody else was working harder and I had to stay with them. Age is just a number, when your motivated!
