There will be some surprises here in that some did veeery well and didn't make the cut after 3 seperate rounds of judging,. In many cases looked so good coming in the "recomp" was very difficult and hard to achieve when compared to some that had so far to come and actually did.
Do not feel surpised if not in the top 5, I know some of you worked your hands to the bones and played some hard kitchen but you had some tough competition given total transfomation is key and not "finished product".

I want to thank our sponsors who give so much and support the community. Prize packages will soon be decided by a group unaffilaited with Eroids and its coordinators so as to make unbiased decisions and to disconnect Eroids from any contribution to the distribution process entirely. We put on a show for the community and the contestants go big and sponsors love that and we love them for stepping up!

As you know last EBC we had one of our judges get called to duty and another banned for reasons unrelated to EBC entirely. At that time it threw us in a pinch and slowed the process.
This round we had alternates in place. However, a very highly respected pick we have been waiting on to finsih up had some unfortunate circumstances call for much of their time. While this individuals judging was very important in my eyes we had to move on with the process.
3 rounds of judging takes place to get to the proper crew in the lead and then we have to work with ties that slow the process as well. In the end, as I made clear to all judges, we want the best possible outcome for the hard working contestants and that means if fine wine takes a little longer then we roll a little longer.
So after one judge unable to complete, another that fell short on finishing, we still had the magic 5 judges in the end and delivered a fair contest.

Let me compliment those of you who are the leader type who attempted to slow the runaway thoughts of a few. Let me also say to a few of you who make great armchair QB's.....you did well on the couch, stay comfy ; )

Point is, amazing judges on this panel, delivered as leaders of the community, worked long and hard on a lot of contestants. Each one of you were chose because you didn't have that armchair quarteback mentallity and because we knew you would deliver fair and unbiased results.. You all stepped up and I appreciate you greatly.

Special thanks to HPG for all of her help on this effort, which was huge and btw....HUGE MOTIVATION FOR SO MANY AROUND HERE AND WHO BETTER TO HELP WITH THE EFFORT. 4 shows including EBC since october of last year, can you say "pro tag" ; ) (2-1st places in there btw)

I want to Thank all of you who competed. You took it serious and pounded it out and some of you took the battle straight to the gates of hell (kitchen as I call it) to make it worth fighting for and it showed and we all got to share in your success.

Top 5 now and as we work on some ties "might" drop in the 6-10 slots for fun.
