I was going through the forums and seeing some old names and clicking on their profiles to see their last login date. I feel like I just talked to some these guys only to realize they've been offline for over a decade... I feel that we're coming to the end of an era, it's not necessarily a bad thing, times change and a new generation is coming up. It's like the last family outing with your siblings before you all grew up or the last time sitting on a green power box with your friends knowing something was about to change but not sure what. The last time you spoke to guys who've you've never met but still care about in a different way. I do miss the simpler times.

I really enjoy eroids and the bunch of you on here. I live and love the gym lifestyle. I choose to wake everyday happy and blessed to see another day. This gym lifestyle saved me im sure, l will live this life till the day im gone. Embrace you gym bros and gals, they prob been through some wild shit in life to push them to fitness extremes. Push limits, work your ass off, we only get one shot at this life. Im gratefull every damn day l wake.
mostly lurked on here for over a decade; but recognize most of the posters here, and also can remember those that have long since moved on.
Reminds me of the quote “At some point in your childhood, you and your friends went outside to play together for the last time, and nobody knew it.”
What is really weird is some of the guys I interact with on here all the time, I feel like I know them and all but then I realize I have never met them in person at all and have no idea what they look like or where they live. I still feel like I know them.
Was having a similar thought today..I’m new but I see the same guys on here day to day. You quickly pick up on the personalities, tranny jokes, etc.

Big…I’m kinda new around here, but I know exactly what you mean, brother. I remember reading some really high-quality write-ups from the old guys… Makwa is one that comes to mind, and a bunch of others. No idea what happened to most of them.
Same thing with some solid connections I made back on the GH15 forums… feels like a lot of that just got lost over time. It’s weird how this whole space becomes like a parallel world … for better or worse.
I get that feeling 100%. Hopefully we can still build and keep some real connections here for the long run.

I heard he had some health issues. I’ve been praying about it since I heard. He was a great dude who was always asking how I’m doing when I was younger. We spoke a lot back then not just bodybuilding.

I too was a friend of Izzy's. He hit me up one time cause he saw a guitar in the background of one of my pics and we had a mutual interest in that. It was seriously shocking and fucked up when I found out he died. Makes you wonder how many other times that's happened that we will never know of. I'm leaving @Petecastiglione my used condom collection when I die so he will have to let you guys know I finally decided to try heroin, meth, coke, roids and bungee jumping all together.

It's crazy, there is another member here who was a customer as well. I receive a letter from him every year saying "If you're reading this, I am probably dead or in jail. We looked for him online but nothing, he came up as a missing person and then one day a news article popped up showing "missing man found dead" not sure what happened, possible suicide, he just wandered out in to the forest and never came back.

I took a 6 year break from this site and bodybuilding ! Missed this forum and bodybuilding. Got back into the gym late last year and started to fall back into love with bodybuilding.
I took a 8 year break and just got back on maybe 6 weeeks ago.
What happened to Viking, he was the GOAT on here.
He never comes on anymore mate, he built a new home with his wife up in the mountains and came on a few times when he was in town with an internet connection several years back now.
Unfortunately Makwa called it time too a year or 2 back now and stopped coming on for personal and family reasons. He was a guy you never expected to see cease coming on.

Even worse pal is when you are browsing through Old forums from 4 or 5 years ago and you see old friends that have now died - many of them I had a lot of personal PM's with and great times and laughs in the forums with. Worse still is like with Izzy that passed he was a good friend to me when was very ill a year ago with bronchitis - he was sending me advice daily in PM on things to try that he found helpful, little do you know what lays ahead. Mate there are so many people who at one time I classed as an inner circle friend that no longer come on at all, you wonder what happened to them - but more often than not their family time simply got hold of them along with new kids and they grow out of training and running gear. I see a few old friends pop in time to time, but it just doesn't feel the same and they soon go again. On a positive note though - there are a lot of miserable cunts from times gone by who I am glad to see the back of who would despise the way this place is now HAHA
