+ 1 Who was the best Wonka?

ad

Fun facts for the kids amongst us, did you know that the river in the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was made of real chocolate? About 150,000 gallons, on top of that, a good portion of the set was edible...but not the flower teacup that Gene Wilder ate.
Ronal Dahl, the author of the book 'Charlie and the chocolate factory' hated the original movie and refused to allow it to be remade until after he died in 1990, his estate essentially pissed on his grave and sold the rights to Tim Burton for the remake.
Oh and Snozzberries, in case you're wondering what they taste like, they taste like dicks, because that was Robert Dahls secret word for penises.
In the wise words of Willy Wonka...Or Shakespeare, whoever "so shines a good deed in a weary world."

P.S: it's Gene Wilder, fuck you if you think differently

Johnny Depp didn’t even compare, and the fact that every Oompah Loompa looked exactly alike was ridiculous, and ruined the whole movie for me. One of the best memories I have of high school is tripping on purple double barrel mescaline with a roomful of friends watching Wonka and Pink Floyd the Wall. Thank you for the flashback, LOL!

I wasn't a huge fan of the oompahs in the new one either. The original oompahs were sources from a circus troop and were a bunch of drunken brits and turks known for causing trouble on the set with practical jokes. Sound like dude I'd party with

Gene Wilder in Stir Crazy was his best. Gene and Richard did the best movies.

Great movie, but Wonka was definitely his best accomplishment by far.
