Low and Slow or Lili dosage?
Sup yall, been lurking a couple weeks or so and I’ve a couple questions I’still unanswered.
I started my first TRT protocol (200mg from TRT Nation) about a month ago, almost 4 weeks. I was planning on getting bloodwork done at 8 weeks and then dropping Nation (very little support but I don’t need hands on) and upping my test to 250mg. I also have Reta coming (only 2x 10mg vials for now) I’m 6’0 320 as of a month ago, probably lost 10lbs so far. I lift heavy 4x a week with cardio those 4 days and I’m currently eating around 15-1800 cals a day. The dosage plans I’ve seen are for obese people (myself) starting at 2mg week 1-4, I was planning on .5 and upping as I go. I current have a good grip on cravings and I’m pretty sure I can hold this diet for the long run, so am I truly wasting Reta by not going to the full 2mg dose immediately? I prefer as few sides as possible and it feels like low and slow will help acclimate my body better.
Should I wait until I get my bloodwork back to start Reta?
Thanks in advance for your time!

1mg to 2mg a week is good for Reta and see how your body reacts. For me, when I started I didn't see or think it was working but it was, I weighed myself once a week and I would lose 5lbs a week. I eventually upped my dose to 3.5mg a week and that's the most I took. I was on it for 4 months and lost almost 50lbs.
Low and slow for sure. I would personally start with 1mg/week. I actually lost about 12lbs at this dose and was still losing, but upped my dosage to 2mg. Hindsight I should have stayed at 1mg due to some of the sides I got. Just follow the protocol if you need to titrate up: The titrating dosing is as follows per the Lily trials: 2mg => 4mg => 6mg => 8mg => 10mg =>12mg. Just give it about 4 weeks+ before doing so. I would say if you stall then move up.
Slowly raise the Reta over time. If you are worried about sides taking a smaller dose n pinning more frequently with def help. That’s what allows people to raise their Reta dose
The biggest sides you are gonna get at this point is from being as heavy as you are on test. Your estrogen is probably going to be high AF. I'm assuming based on your height/weight you're probably sitting around 35% bf.
If you're being monitored by a Dr at this point, Id keep em.
As far as the reta, you're not wasting it by starting slow and titrating. That's the correct way to begin any glp protocol. There's sources on here where you can get large amounts of reta for much cheaper than buying one or two 10mg vials at a time.
Also your calorie intake is very low. You will DEFINITELY lose weight in a hurry, and simultaneously begin to build muscle with the amount of test you're taking. But at some point soon you will no longer be able to sustain any muscle gain with calories that low. You will be struggling to maintain what you have, which the test will help with but not all the way. At multiple points during your recomp you will need to reevaluate you're diet and adjust as things change. for sure keep your Dr that you're using at least until you're in a healthier place.
Be careful my man.
Yes I’m around 30-35%bf atm. I’m doing a dexa scan next week to see where I’m at, and I’m planning on upping my calorie intake up to about 2k, I’m dropping fat now but I worry about my protein intake, I want to keep as much muscle as possible obviously, but I expect to lose some, my end goal isn’t a weight number, but a healthy bf%. I feel I’m sub 20% around 220. I was around 240 and about 25% five years ago so that’s my goal. I was very impulsive when I made the Reta purchase and I know with a little more patience I’ll find the right source for bulk buys.
Yea buddy. If you needsome good sources you can friend me and hit me up I'll pm you some. Keep at it. Your on the right track.
