Mine is a pawn shop find- Standard HPX 1911. American made milled quality parts, 4.5lb trigger, match grade stainless barrel, and came with 3 mags in original box with un-activated warranty. Guy didn’t shoot it too much at all cleaned and internals are good as new- sadly it does have some minor scratches but that’s just character… besides these started retail for $1,200-$1,400 and was $900 at the pawn shop. After bargaining I walked out with everything shown for $595 cash- gotta love Texas!

Man if I could forever recommend one firearm NOT to buy it’s gotta be this guy. Got it from a desperate buddy for $100. Pawn shop offered him $80. Thought it’d be fun as it’s double action only and could be practice for my snubby’s trigger pulls. I honestly wouldn’t even pay that for the pain it’s been. Just went to the range today and a THIRD Crimson Trace CTS-1500 red dot has stopped working. Thing feeds fine but trigger pull is 8lbs and long as shit! Luckily CT has a lifetime warranty, but I’m tired of taking apart and sending off for a month just to get another cheaply made red dot back.
They don’t even include the stock rear sight plate to put back on when the cheap-o red dot fails lol. Definitely would never trust it in a defensive situation.
Don’t get anything SCCY or Crimson Trace imo.
Thats why i like i like the venom optic red dot. Old brand but reliable. Got my green light dialed in at 10yards. Rule of thumb is your home personal piece should be dialed in to the biggest room in your house

I’ve never seen anything like that and I’ve been around firearms since I was a child lol. I’d like to do an AR pistol build, but until they decide on what’s a SBR and what’s a pistol, FRTs, the bells and whistles, I just keep everything well within regulations. I just get cool optics and shit like that. I have a 1-8 LPVO I can really reach out there with. I shoot my handguns more than anything though, I’m carrying every day and have to stay sharp.
Edit- is that pistol like the Ruger Security 9 compact whereas it’s actually hammer fired? It looks striker but the hammer is internal and the slide gives it a partial cock?
The ATF Pistol Brace Rule was overturned. I bought one a couple of months ago.
Basically but worse. Concealed hammer double action only. It will go through full pull/rotation regardless if cocked. That’s what I dislike most. It honestly feeds fine and the red dot works for what it is.
I know the main Crimson Trace Representative on a first name basis at this point. He didn’t even ask me to send it in just sent me an email saying he sent another new one to my address this time hahahaha.
Chinese made shit- fun for the range would never trust it with my life.
Really can’t expect much for a concealed with working optic starting at $399 brand new though. Good idea- poor execution. Then again I’m not sure what level of quality anyone could achieve with those margins.
At the end of the day, if it goes bang every time you squeeze the trigger you have the important part covered. The dot on my one pistol is just to show off being fast at the range, I’ll carry it on occasion, but typically there’s iron sights tucked into my belt.
That fucker looks like a lot of fun.
I’m telling you, it’s ridiculous. After it’s dialed in it will put every round right where that dot is, you just have to do your part.
