ad

I was perusing Facebook marketplace for a mini fridge as I have been looking for something smaller to store my peptides away from the main fridge or garage fridge.

I came across what appeared to be a troll ad selling a U-Line U-29RB-00 for only $40! I messaged and he immediately messaged back. Turns out it was a demolition company and they were tearing down a huge hail/dent repair shop and found this mid job. I just got a working industrial fridge for $40 USD haha. It really is the little things in life!

Peptide storage for the foreseeable future Baby!

Triggerman83's picture

thats a good score!

smurfdude1234567's picture

Thanks man!! I legitimately thought it was a troll post seeing that it was a U-Line. Cleaned up decent and works perfect!

Triggerman83's picture

I love some good second hand deals. My most recent was a schwin aerodyne 6 for $275. I had never fooled with the air / fan bikes before. i enjoy it way more than the spinning / pelotons ive rode

DeeMan's picture

Looks like evidence to a crime up top!
That red red

smurfdude1234567's picture

Haha it was at a auto body/hail repair shop so you can only imagine what those dudes kept in there over the years

DeeMan's picture

They could at least wipe clean the evidence. Lol those mechanics don't give a damn. Oil on one hand and coolant on the other hand and they're still gonna eat what's available. No time to degrease or scrub hands. I saw that happening one time I dropped off my car to a mechanic shop. Aye I looked at dude's hand and I promise you I saw oil dripping from it while he was eating a bologna sammich!.... that's what he called it when I asked him what he was eating. I couldn't tell because the bread had black prints on it. The guy just finished messing with an oil pan.

I wonder how that oil tasted. Couldn't of tasted good

smurfdude1234567's picture

Can almost guarantee he didn’t mind LOL! My grandfather was a Chevy/GM mechanic until the day he passed. They definitely have props from me- 12 hours physical labor shifts in the heat are never fun.

Here are some Pewter awards he got back in the day. There was more but got split among the grand kids.

DeeMan's picture

Ahh man that's cool. Memories you'll cherish the rest of your life I bet. Definitely much respect to those guys. Lol pretty sure back in his day men had higher natural testosterone levels too, alot different than now. Man 12 hours hard labor!

Did u clean those awards? They look brand new. I see the date so I know they're not new

smurfdude1234567's picture

Nah man they’re solid pewter I believe. I haven’t touched em since taking them home from his house when he passed Jan, 2021.

100% man! Especially this most recent generation is so fucking soft…

DeeMan's picture

Well he kept good care of them. Early 90s was awhile back. Damn he definitely left behind something solid in which he loved doing. Can't beat that.

smurfdude1234567's picture

Oh man I have 2 20ft toolboxes, old motorcycles, dozens of guns, etc. he left me way more than I deserved.

Let me see if I can find some pics of the old Norton Ranger Motorcycle and toolboxes. It’s ridiculous. Have a cherry picker I’ve used once LOL!

Found one- 60’s Norton Ranger all original I’m restoring and those two huge toolboxes behind it. Things I’m probably going to end up keeping for my lifespan too.

DeeMan's picture

Man with all that around you must think of him every day!

smurfdude1234567's picture

Oh yeah man hard not to, but it’s in a good way for sure. I’m too much of a sentimental fuck to ever get rid of the bike or awards.

The tools maybe eventually but it’s so damn convenient to be able to go to my garage and have anything I could possibly need

DeeMan's picture

You lucky Juice headed grand kid! Man I'm somewhat sentimental but not sure how I would react to having all his old belongings around. I have a few belongings of someone close to me who I lost and I can hardly set my eyes on those few belongings. I don't know, maybe it's denial or something deeper.

smurfdude1234567's picture

You ya calling Juice Head, Juice Head?!

It was tough at first for sure. He was Christian and I was raised the same so I’m pretty much at peace with it. It’s a lot easier to believe they’re somewhere that they can be happy- and if ya can’t believe in that at the least somewhere where they’re not suffering.

Hell I think if I ever sold one of his competition over/under barrel shotguns he’d rise from his grave LOL!

DeeMan's picture

Yeah you're definitely doing the right thing. And I wouldn't sell a damn thing if I were in your shoes. Yeah man eventually we all gotta go and in the meantime we just make the best of this adventure we call life. His spirit is smiling on you I'm sure of that.

And no one around here wants to be associated with the term juicehead!
So we have The terms Stank, Juicehead and Astronauts. Lol contracted with NASA

smurfdude1234567's picture

Stanky Astronaut Juicehead!

DeeMan's picture

Lol. Gonna piss some dudes off

DeeMan's picture

Straight outta NASA

smurfdude1234567's picture

Straight outta NASA

ROFL

I picture it in that straight outta Compton shirt format that everyone used when NWA got big

Fuckin TrenTwins are straight outta NASA

DeeMan's picture

Yep. We might have to get some t- shirts made.
So that movie was good. I might watch it tonight. In my opinion that group didn't have one star they had a few stars. A good case of combined parts being stronger than individual units...a good example. As far as solo career, Dre and Cube probably the most successful. Easy and Cube were the businessmen. Legendary group man!

smurfdude1234567's picture

It was and I wasn’t expecting a ton- such a badass real life story I wasn’t sure how they’d condense it down and pay homage to them. Cube’s son was great.

Oh yeah man the whole story and background was a social movement and each one of those guys was a necessary piece of that puzzle.

Shit I may rewatch it tonight too haha. Haven’t seen it since it came out.

Thats the age of rap and hip-hop I love. I wish I was just a little bit older and actually got to experience their careers in real time

DeeMan's picture

Yeah man I was a kid watching those guys back then. They did well with that movie but that Tupac movie wasn't good at all.

Yeah hip hop is trash nowadays. I couldn't tell you who is hot right about now.

FartDracula's picture

I think the most recent rapper I actually liked was Tyler the Creator. I can't think of a single one outside of him. They all just blend together, uhh Lil 10xxPumpdickxx or something? idk

DeeMan's picture

Lol a bunch of lils huh? ...Lil Eroid is running around there somewhere!!! @FartDracula @smurfdude1234567

FartDracula's picture

He's changed quite a bit. Ran a few cycles now he's Big Eroid.

smurfdude1234567's picture

We’re going to see an eroids rap posted up before too long now.

smurfdude1234567's picture

Lil’ Eroid lol

smurfdude1234567's picture

Oh yeah I didn’t even watch Pac shit. I heard people calling it disrespectful lol.

Mannn J Cole, kendrick, lil baby, durk, NLE, king von, etc. know quite a few of the neeer ones but yeah I couldn’t really either lol

DeeMan's picture

Von was on point

DeeMan's picture

Yeah those dudes you mentioned I know of but ....

smurfdude1234567's picture

Kendrick and cole I respect for new age. The rest I’ve heard one or two alright things, but agreed 99% of that shit is well… shit haha

DeeMan's picture

Yeah Kendrick gets deep but man he's just not for me. He's respected though

DeeMan's picture

Damn!! They got an extra one lol? That's a steal for 40 bucks!

smurfdude1234567's picture

Lol it was in the back office part under a counter! Ice cold and holding my peptides already. Can’t find a ton about why U-Line is so expensive, but you can’t beat a working 3.3cu Ft. mini fridge for $40!

DeeMan's picture

Gotta say I'm jealous like a damn female! We all should be lol. Nah man good for you. I'm sure you'll put it to good use. I remember having something similar but it wasn't name brand back in the day when playing college ball. Wish I still had the damn thing. I think someone stole it.. memories

smurfdude1234567's picture

Hell yeah I appreciate it man! There’s so many appliances and cool things I once had and wish I hadn’t gotten rid of over the years man.

Pumped_'s picture

2 cubit and 3.3 cubit for super cheap form hdsupplysolutions.com . I get these for med fridges for nursing home

DeeMan's picture

Get one for me pumped! You know I'm good for it! I literally penciled you in and voted for you. Don't let me down

smurfdude1234567's picture

Hell yeah! It’s an under counter designed one. No idea why U-line is so expensive really but I couldn’t pass it up for $40 lol. Works perfect so far!

Rosschestzip's picture

Damnnnnnnn dude you gotta move off Antarctica!!! It’s like 60 where I’m at and I’m in a normal part of the country that has all four seasons. Fuck that. Zero in November?? No thanks. I grew up in New England so I know rough winters but not zero degrees before thanksgiving. What’s it gunna be like in January? Negative 50?? Lmao

smurfdude1234567's picture

Right!! 72 out here. The coldest place I’ve ever visited was NYC on New Years. Haven’t been out of the US except Mexico though. 0 and getting into negative temperatures is like fairy tale world to me.

Rosschestzip's picture

I grew up in Massachusetts so we got bad winters. I’d see negative numbers probably one day a year or maybe like a real bad cold front for like a week or something. But that’s usually end of Jan or early feb, but this early is crazy, wherever he is just get deep negatives further into the winter. FUCK THAT. I hate the cold

press1's picture

I just got back in from going outside to look at this HUGE Old Oak Tree they chopped down today! 3 guys chopping the poor thing down with 3 chainsaws - it made me quite sad actually as I was stood thinking man that was actually a living thing up until today doing no harm to anyone! Imagine how many hundreds of years that has been there and all the things it has seen Sad Literally Bro it is now Snowing outside, so cold I came back in LMAO You know trees actually talk to and communicate with each other through their roots??!!

In a promo × 1
CHIMAIRA75's picture

They don't just talk to one another, they literally support one another through the fungi network. They feed the fungus photosynthesized sugar and in turn the fungi network allow the trees use of it's (essentially a Wi-Fi network) underground network. They feed each other, and communicate working together with the fungus. Pretty cool shit!
You guys have had some tree planting movements over there over the years. I think they can themselves phantom planters. They just randomly plant trees everywhere. Lol
