We normally have prime rib, but the lady can’t eat red meat. So we’re having the usual:
Turkey and chicken
Green bean casserole
Sweat potatoes
I’m hoping to hear some bomb ass dinners! Let’s gooooo!!

How are you getting on now mate - have you got the house somewhat back to normal after the Hurricane? Did you end up getting through it okay and how long was it before power was restored?
Thanks brother! Just some of our fence was down and some flooding, but nothing crazy. We were out of power for about 5 days in hot ass weather, but are grateful it wasn’t any worse. I appreciate you checking up!

We don't have Thanksgiving over here buddy, just Christmas Day really. But either way its currently freezing here, -4 C on a night its crazy. It keeps snowing too LMAO
I start fretting if the local Sub power station goes down for 2 hours during the night, let alone 5 days LOL
Turkey with gravy, sweet potato casserole, white mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing with gravy, macaroni and cheese, green beans, carrots, chicken and dumplings, rolls, butter, and pumpkin pie.

-Baked Mac N’ Cheese
-Sweet potato casserole 1/2 marshmallows 1/2 candied pecans topped
-Hawaiian roll sliders (ham, turkey, beef burger)
-Honey Ham Jamaican style with pineapple
-stuffing
-Deviled Eggs
-Jalapeño Poppers
-Mashed potatoes
-Brown & White Gravy
-Tortilla chips with salsa, queso, buffalo chicken, and spinach artichoke dip.
-2x pumpkin pies
-2x chocolate pies
-2x pecan pies
-1x apple pie
-1x pineapple upside down cake
-an Egregious amount of alcohol (not for me just Mary Jane haha)
Think that’s it, but normally every member of our dysfunctional ass family that shows up ends up bringing something else haha. Changes over the years, but I always am satisfied.

I got this little indoor fryer a few years back to try it and it works perfect. Although I only use it a couple times a year 1. For turkey today 2. For our huge catfish fry we do atleast once a year
Oh being a Life Safety person in the field, that appliance plugged into an extension cord makes me cringe. Be careful buddy. (At least tag on it looks like it may be UL rated and hope it holds the watts). #1 source of house fires are electrical fires. HAPPY THANKSGIVNG PEOPLE

Ya I’d love to move Texas, sounds like such a great place to live, don’t really wanna up root the kids now there getting into middle school and stuff so it’s getting to be a little late for moving around but who knows, maybe in the next few years. If I was gunna move it would 100% be to Texas
