-1 Anavar/Oxandrolone Only --> Test Cycle w/ Blood Book
So I wanted to post my take re "dip your toes" in oral only cycle, with my blood and body comp differences. The data is not perfect because I spent a month doing unenhanced diet and weightlifting, and somewhere in there I introduced creatine before I started any anavar. After 4 weeks of natty training, then I went on 25mg anavar split two doses AM/PM. Mostly to assist in keeping muscle during my diet (And boy did it succeed in that, lost 10.5lb fat, gained 7.6 lean, though certainly a few lb of water from the creatine)
I took a blood test at week 1 started then after 4 weeks of diet and lifting I added in the anavar. At week 7, so 3 weeks post anavar only I took another blood draw. Kidney and Liver results were all normal before and after so I didnt bother posting them. Blood pressure fine before and after though I did get headaches a couple times.
Hormones and Lipids much different story. Oral only's are poitnless they said. Well I guess so at such suppressed T levels I felt pretty lame. I didn't check my estradiol after anavar but I bet it was low too since there was no T being metabolized into estradiol. Weirdly I could still get good work done in the gym but just did not feel good otherwise, sleep sucked, mood sucked. Libido was still ok but not as good. I figured I could probably rebound relatively quickly since my HPT axis was not complelely shut down, only substantially suppressed the HPT axis but I'm a greedy pig and I said fuck it, let me just get off the var and go on test. Week 9 injected 375mg test enanthate. That was yesterday. I'll check my hormones in a week and see if my estradiol is so elevated that I need to start an AI. Cognizant that my BF is not particularly low so aromatization may be something to mitigate. I have aromasin 25mg for that purposes. I dont want to crush my estrogen so I may have to do some adjustments.
Stopped anavar cycle, and started testosterone enanthate (375 mg first week, but probably will go to 250 mg, I only did 375 cause I fucked up an ampoule and didn't want to waste half the test). In meantime will also have to make changes to my diet to mitigate this cholesterol issue. I'll post updated blood work and body comp results as I do tests. Hopefully this info is useful for others.

You do not need gear but if you wanna take years off go for it. Learn to diet and workout properly first. Drugs may help short term but you have no base and bloods levels similar of honey boo boo’s… DIET! CARDIO!
I’m going to keep a very close eye on my blood work and if cholesterol stays high within 6 weeks I’ll just eat shit and cut it all out. But will at least want to see if what I do to mitigate will be effective.
Agree that going on fear now was bad timing and going back in time would have just not started the anavar before dieting further. But seeing my first post anavar blood work I though to myself well if I go on gear now I won’t have to deal with the rebounding after the anavar. It did also shock me into changing my diet and cutting out fried meats as a daily thing, as a silver lining.

Wow I have been on test and done many cycles for a few years and never bloods show over 135 for LDL…

The anavar is particularly bad for cholesterol, based on what I’ve read about it here and elsewhere that the lipid effects are the worst sides. That was compounded with my diet being shitty. I was/am at a 500 calorie deficit. But for convenience a chick fila chicken and egg sandwich for breakfast everyday. Which definitely helped with my food cravings… but the cholesterol was shocking so I stoped the anavar and changed my diet to oatmeal instead of fried chicken. Also adding in more dietary fiber in form of greens and berries to my meals.
I’m hoping that the dietary changes along with stopping the anavar will control the cholesterol adequately.
We shall see! I’ll post my follow up blood work in a few weeks for anavar to washout and dietary changes to settle in

I can’t and shouldn’t comment on this post. Dude is a fat slob, trained for 4 weeks, then decided to get on gear (in the worst way possible I might add). He’s gonna have to walk this path on his own, as he’s likely not ready for the criticism this post should, justifiably, elicit.
