+ 1 What gauge and needle length for Deltoid pinning?

I currently pin in my deltoids with a 25g, 1 1/2'' length needle. I draw w a bigger gauge. Pinning E3D rotating delts.
Recently I've been seeing everyone pin with 27g-29g insulin syringes with 1/2'' length. Saying it's super painless, less scar tissue, and way less intimidating.
I looked at my syringe last pin and it got me considering switching to this approach. But Is this syringe deep enough? Leaking oil a problem?
What do you guys use and whats your experience?

UPDATE: Thanks for all the comments guys, lovin this community. I've decided to go and order 1/2'' 27g insulin pins, if that doesnt work I'll just switch back to what I was doin, thanks!

i use 1" never had a problem 27g and 25g

Dont be scared or dont use gear. Some oils are irritating subq.

KonstantViktoryAs long as the oil volume doesn't exceed 0.7ml or so, I think the insulin pins are A1. Check out heated massage and shockwave therapy first even more gains.

interesting, whats your experience if it's over that .7ml?
When I first started doc prescribed TRT, I injected .75cc with an insulin needle, and it was great. Some leaked out every time but a quick plug with a paper towel stopped it.
27g .5" for delts
27g 1" for quads and glutes
Wow, I’ve been using 22 gauge 1.5” balls deep for everything. Delts, glutes, quads.

I pull with a 25g, swap heads and inject.
28g, goodlord, how long does that delt injection take? 3-5 business days?
Lol, jokes aside, I just ordered 27g 1/2'' Insulin pins so we'll see how it goes. If you can do 28g I'm sure 27g will be fine lol.

Lol, Tbh, doesnt take long. Injections are faster than drawing. I inject 3 times a week so its not as much in the syringe.
anvilStay out of the delts for e3d your going to be hearing and feeling a crunch after years of doing that, building scar tissue. 27g 5/8 if you are lean enough will work in most spots, 25g 1 inch if you aren't.
25g 1” always worked for me
I’m WAY green compared to every other people giving advice but I like 5/8th’s on the quad since it seems to disperse within the muscle within the 15sexonds I leave the syringe in after injection.
Ross and I were talking about how we’ve had similar experiences with the Delt pushing back out some or most for me so I don’t care what size, I just don’t put more than .7 into each Delt.
The Ventriglute is one I just found with confidence and am gonna try that tomorrow, it seems like the perfect spot, a ton of space for the oil to be absorbed and minimal nerve endings.
I’m way too skinny for a 1.5 anywhere but keep 1” around but mainly use 5/8th’s for everything except peptides/HGH.

25g x 5/8 is perfect. Slides in like butter.
I use 24 gauge 1inch , leaking oil happens sometimes not much of a problem. I’d prefer pinning glutes , at 20% bf I don’t think 1/2 insulin syringe will be enough.
1 1/2'' inch in the delt? You must have some massive delts or a lot of fat there, I'd personally go nowhere near there with that length
Like KevK said, try downsize to an orange 1" inch 25G, still a decent length and much less trauma than a 1 1/2 inch.
I'd only consider insulin / 13mm injections if you were to change your injection schedule to be small amounts everyday instead of the larger amount E3D.
There are actually some guys on here who use Greens in the Delts Lol They are around 240lbs but still - frightening thought.

5/8's the way to go then! How many ml are you putting in there?
I use an inch 26g. Ive tried insulin needles but for me takes to long to inject, but that does reflect how much volume you are using though.
