So the Secret service has rushed Former President Trump off of stage at his rally after an active shooter situation. I'm just now seeing the news on it and it does look like he's bleeding from the face or ear. Now I'm no Trump or Biden guy but this is 100% wrong plain and simple. I've said before, after he gets elected there would be problems but I didn't expect this at all. Like I said it's wrong for anyone to suggest assignation of Biden or Trump. But not sure why this surprises me because there has been soo much damn hatred from both sides which has been made obvious, hell a blind man can see that. Anyways no karma needed just comment if you feel need to or don't comment. We're living in horrible times.

That's what I'm talking about! If guys like you and I can understand and manage money well what's the excuse for all these professional athletes that made millions yet go broke? I know a few of those guys and let me tell ya it's bad. But one former NFL player did tell me that alot of those guys go by the "Warren Buffet plan." Next time I talk to him I'm gonna get more details from him. He told me that he makes a good amount off residuals. He's into real estate. Got him a nice million dollar home. He's come a long way from the first time we met. He's one of the guys that didn't mess his money off. We always hear about the ones that do though. Proud of the dude.
Good deal. Investments have been good to me also. They're good to have if you're fortunate to have them. Yea it's been rough but certain things like investments have helped a bit. A few high rate CDs has helped a bit too. 5-6% rate covers a few bills. Fortunate

You're lucky to have investments, the bigger picture however is that half of Americans do not have a stock portfolio at all.

Yeah. S&P about a third, various tech and financials about 15%, even cash is about 20% and getting 5.3% and then there is Apple which I got in at $.33 cost basis for a 72,000% return so far. As I am sure you know, once you hit say 50 it’s almost irrelevant what you save for retirement at that point. It’s all about your rate of return. Sure saving helps but time is too short to make a big dent unless you are making crazy money and saving most of it.
I just feel like the s&p has gone up so high it's due for a huge crash. I don't want to hold any index funds.
Anytime you have a meteoric rise like the S&P has in the last years it’s bound to crash but it’ll crumble piece by piece, sector by sector as opposed to a all out collapse I believe, or at least in a less drastic fashion but it’s a hell of a time to invest thats for sure.

I agree. I’ve felt that way for a while now so it’s pretty much a good chunk of my 401k that’s in there which I hope to not touch for another 10-15 years.

I have a hard time believing an entity with so much money and resources would go with sleeper cells when they could do it with trained professionals more successfully.
I also have a hard time believing Blackrock would even want Trump dead considering that he handed massive tax-cuts to the rich/corporations while deregulating industries which would help further their profits.

Ya but idk if he’s a true outsider. Look at his cabinet picks. They were a lot of the same players. Could chalk it up to kinda being forced to pick them, but idk. I’m not sure if there hatred for him is genuine or there fear of his policies is genuine, or do the real powers know they control him too and it’s just more of the puppet show, just a little more extreme then the last episode.
The illusion of right vs left has always been a thing. Either pick is already approved by these powers, so no matter who wins they’re fine with it, so why is it different now, do you think he’s actually an outsider and that they couldn’t stop him if they wanted to? I’m always kinda hung up on that, same days I think he really his an outsider and other days I think it’s more of the same illusion.
