+ 6 Opinion of society today
So this post doesn't need any karma votes so please no need to up vote. I recieved a comment from @Drexyl and @Glitch about what they thought society was like today. I have to admit they made damn good points. This is just general talk and I didn't want to clog up a certain src's SI with this topic so I decided to post this. In my opinion, I'm beyond blaming any political party or race for the chaos that has taken place among society. Not to be negative but I don't think things will ever go back to how things use to be. We've definitely lost our way and it seems that this is becoming acceptable among us. I do agree with drexyl that it seems that covid started a domino affect for chaos and violence. If anyone of you agree or disagree please feel free to voice your opinion. I'd definitely like to hear you out. I don't blame any political party or race..I blame evil, along with lies and misinformation.

I think that the “system being broken” is one of the biggest misconceptions there are. You’re definitely right; it is an infinitely complex system that is terrifyingly well designed, and it functions exactly as it’s meant to. To separate the mass populace at large so we focus on silly shit while they make moves that are detrimental to our well being.
I would argue the fact that since so many of us are having this exact conversation, it suggests that we are in the process of improving the general environment we live in. This is a vastly different world than we grew up in and it can never return. It’s simply a different place with different parameters than there used to be. Instant communication, all knowledge a buttons push away, tech evolving at an ever increasing pace; it is quite simply, a brave new world. One we are are all working to shape into the best possible version of itself. In the past, much information was hidden from us, which allowed particular groups to take advantage of the common person. Now it’s obvious, which takes the vast majority of their power away. When groups, governments & corporations cannot operate in the shadows any longer, we regain control. We are the solution.

It’s only a gut feeling and going by what I see and interpret, but in my opinion I truly be things are going to get much worse much faster than anyone is thinking. I’m not a nut about it, but I adore our constitution and the rights it gives us. There is only one right that includes the words stating that this right is not to be infringed upon. And they’re literally disarming us. And we’re allowing it. Our founding fathers of this great country would put their hands on our shoulders, look us straight in the eyes, and knee us in the balls. As we roll around on the ground, they would tell us how badly we fucked up a good thing. They may give a hand up and brush us off after the lesson, but rest assured a lesson would be given. Shit, some people may be shot. Those guys didn’t fuck around when it came to our liberty.
It will definitely be interesting to see how the next few years will go. Some do say things will get much worse much faster. I was speaking with a 85 year old man and he was persistent that things were going to get much worse. He said he has seen alot but right about now scares him.
I believe that all the mess starts from media.. TV in general, world would be better with out them for sure

Things can go back to the way "things" used to be. I have experienced it. We can teach our children and let them experience life the way we did. It takes an effort of will an talking to our babies in a manner that makes them adults and then addressing there experiences if any how they feel. How were you brought up? Don't blame lies. You are their one and true makeup of how life will be to them. Sometimes life is frikkin hard. Let it be hard on them but hold out your arm for hugs and be silent and listen some times all it takes is for our little ones to cry it out completely. In that time we can maybe be sympathetic, but only to the point that one needs to bounce back a make a superhero recovery. One way or another our babies have to deal. That’s a big move. Also the kind of thing we need more of. Silence and complicity is what allows things to degrade into chaos. Fear can paralyze a person into not doing what’s in their own best interest. It takes an impressive character to stand up to a seemingly bigger entity in the interest of what’s right.

Was urged/made to falsify some documents in order to keep my job by my superiors. My job isn’t worth prison time. In all reality the only person responsible for Drex’s well being is Drex. Need to double check my protection and get out of this. I’m probably making it sound worse than it is, but id rather step forward now and eat it than be made to eat to eat the big sandwich later. The State does appreciate that. The shit we do for our employers right? I hate my fucking job.
My last line of work had some real shady shit. The CEO of our company had to step down becuase he got sick. In the meantime he took a consultant job. Well the people that took his place started doing shady shit. Making questionable business decisions, some were actually pretty illegal. Started treating the employess like trash. Well another big exec at a different company who was friends with our CEO told him of some of the things that he saw. So our CEO kind of did an internal investigation on his own. I was threatened with my job and others as well on several occasions if any of us said anythings about said shady shit dealings. I couldn't lose my job as I worked really hard to get the position I had. As much as I wanted to smash the dudes face in lol. Anyway, they weren't expecting out CEO to get better. This was around the end of 2020 into 2021.
Well at the end of 2021 I was honestly sick of the shit. A group of us anonymously whistle blowed filed a complaint to the owners. When they did their investigation, the CEO said he was also doing his investigation. I decided to leave and take a different position elsewhere. The CEO was shocked I was leaving. We called me asking me why I was leaving. That's when I told him about all the shit they were doing. He was furious as they kept him out of the dark on everything. I told him how they threatened us if we spoke up about it. I told him I was leaving as I took a different opportunity and I was grateful for everything. A buddy of mine who still works there called me about a month later and saying the CEO came back full force and canned everyone that was involved in the shady shit. I was glad to hear and they asked if I would come back, I said no I moved on literally and figuratively.

Eh. It’s all relative to our perspective. Seems that way but I wasn’t around during the civil war, slavery, Great Depression, Vietnam, etc. Try not to take it all to seriously I say. Doesn’t affect me at all. Gives me a lot of material to laugh and talk about. Also, I don’t believe in any religion or god. Life is good and I’m happy.

I can't stand how so many sugar coat shit. I don't with my children as I want them to see and understand the real world. Shit is not all rainbows amd glitter. Life can be raw and gritty. I was raised around the real shit. I know some hard people and have had the hardest of times. My children know what real life is about, that it's not easy out there. I tell them nobody cares about how you feel. Don't believe everything you see or hear. Unfortunately too many have strayed away from God. A lot of churches have strayed to conform to the masses. You have gay ass preachers, lesbian pastors...blah blah...I follow much more than Christianity as it was altered too much. I go back to the dead seas scrolls, Aramaic targums, greek septuagint, etcetera...modern day bible was altered too much. I can't go to a normal church because my beliefs are too out there according to them lol. I just don't like how they cherry pick the shit.
