Not to get too personal but I was just curious about how you guys view women today, especially those that we see in the gym working out. At times I'm lost because I see alot of women dressed up like they're in a damn club on a Saturday night or something, with all that make up caked on their faces. I do think social media plays a part no doubt. Just seems like they feel that every man comes to the gym to look at them and not work out. Man please!...I have goals and gains to get! Women, can't live without them though.

The gyms around Asia have plenty of petite girls walking around.
Just be cautious in Thailand and Vietnam because a lot are vegans and they want you to make your gains from eating grass.

That's why I choose dirty, damp gyms that a woman wouldn't set foot in. I'm currently training in a nuclear shelter converted into a gym. There is no air conditioning, no air, after heavy sets I have to go up the stairs to breathe air. A woman, as far as I know, has never even peeked in, let alone trained there. I'm enjoying it!
Do we train at the same gym? Cause that sounds like my gym. My gym is underground though. Pretty nasty environment but a couple man like women are members there. If you look hard enough you can probably see their members too, I'm just saying they are manly.
Yes, mine is underground too. Former nuclear shelter built shortly after WW2. The door is 30 cm thick. It also has its own ventilation and flood pump, but none of them work. If you leave the gym with a bunch of rust on your hands, then we're in the same gym LOL

It’s def changed over the past 20 years. While I do find it more motivating in a gym with for woman working out, some of the gym attire screams look at me. But if you look at them your a pervert lol… I try to keep my eye contact with the “instragam” ladies to a minimum.
There’s a couple, shoot maybe more than a couple ladies who setup cameras, and I’m not a fan. I don’t wanna be on your damn instagram or whatever. The problem is, gym owners see this as free advertisement. Home girl prolly had a huge following, and they know that means advertising for their gym. While most the followers are prolly not gym goers, prolly opposite, it still prolly brings in new customers.
It’s a good topic Dee, as most of the guys I work with, also go to the gym, this conversation comes up a lot. Or later after the gym, it’s like, hey you see that chick in the blue?! Lots of nipples piercing and no bras lately…

It’s a mixed bag at my gym. There are some hard core, legit females in there doing compound lifts and pushing harder than a lot of the guys in there and I respect the hell out of them.
There is also a large percentage who are in there strictly to take selfies and make social media content and it gives me the fucking rage. Prime example- I was in the gym on Monday trying to finish up chest day with a few sets of DB Bench to failure. There weren’t any flat benches open in front of the dumbbell rack, and then I saw it…. This chick was taking up two benches so she could put her tripod on one to record herself doing bicep curls with 5 lb dumbbells. I just walked over, looked at her, looked at the tripod, looked back at her and shook my head as if to say “no” and luckily she got it and moved the tripod.
There are guys who fall into that category too. I refer to that group collectively as the “Insta Hoes & Selfie Bros”.
I go to a local YMCA and until April of 2023 it wasn’t an issue because it was mostly second hand free weights and machines from the 90’s. Then they must have gotten a very substantial charitable donation because they seriously overhauled it and while it’s really nice it also siphoned off a good bit of the Planet Fitness crowd and the Insta Hoes & Selfie Bros that come with it.
I eventually changed my routine and started going before work as much as possible because (generally speaking at least) if you’re in the weight room before 6:00 AM your there to do fucking work.

There was a survey done last year. It found 70% of women in relationships, whether marriage or dating, had back up guys waiting on the side. Generally its an ex or someone who never quite got out of the friendzone. With 1 exception, and thats the girl im currently dating, every girl i knew or dated had someone lined up to jump to the second they were done with a relationship. The fact that my current girl went 2 years without even going on a date after her last relationship was a giant green flag in my eyes. I don't understand how these girls ever figure out who THEY are if they're always with someone else. It's like they're terrified of being alone. In doing so they rob themselves of the chance to really figure out who they are and become comfortable with that person. It's always been after a relationship ended and i went monk mode for a while that i would discover things about myself i never knew before.
I'm so glad i'm not in college or my early 20's in this dating market. When permission for sex can be retroactively removed and you're a creep for being nice if you aren't quite attractive enough.

In some cases the guy openly admitted to doing time for beating his ex and putting her in the hospital. Another the guy said he had just gotten out after a "misunderstanding" with an underage girl. The women threw themselves at these guys. He would literally admit what he had supposedly done in one message and jn the next ask "down to fuck?" And they'd say yes. Tons of women just didn't give a shit that they might end up in the hospital or that their young daughters might get molested. So long as she got that bad boy d a couple times first. I couldn't believe that single mothers were ok with a guy who molested a minor being around their children.
