Pct for women ?
ad
If a female runs testosterone for extended periods of time , would they have to do some type of pct to get their natural testosterone levels to come back into play ? What is the mechanism in the female body that produces testosterone?

no PCT like men do.... unnecessary and would be a HUGE disaster ...
What dosage and for how long was your wife taking it? This will be interesting to find out the answer regarding the pct
My wife was has been using test prop on and off for a bit now , she’s more been using it more for sex drive then for working out and she’s had great results with it in that department. This time she stayed on longer then usual and now that she came off she’s not feeling that great. Looking to see if there is something that can help with that . She didn’t taper off which I know that would def had helped but need to know if there is a pct for women or if she just has to ride it out.
AnonShe could get bloods and check her levels. Her E could be out of range. Getting it back into range would improve the way she feels bro.
Yes I been worried about her estro while she is on test and been trying to figure out if she is able to take adex at a small dose to try to keep it in range a little better . She does hold a little bit of water since her rings get tight , ect , stuff like that . So that’s another issue I need to get some guidance on . As far as her feeling bad it seems to be coinciding with the stopping cold turkey of the testosterone.
AnonI just read an article stickied in the Ladies Lounge and it sounds like estrogen rebound after going cold turkey on the test. Because you dont know how long this could last I would get her blood work done, then either let a doc write her a script if needed, or take the self medicated route with plenty of research.
A PCT as the males do,NEVER, that would fuck their whole system.
Womens produce test in the adrenal glands and in the ovaries.
One of the biggest problems would be regulating ovulation, and for that matter woman should use HCG for that.
The rest... Would be waiting time until their body regulates itself.
Molinin302Definitely a valid question, even as a male I'm curious. Females testosterone is produced by the ovaries, a small amount by the adrenal gland. But I'm not sure what HCG, etc. would have on the ovaries vs the testes.
I know a girl that uses OTC Test boosters as her PCT! She swares by it..not sure about the science behind that practice.
what about the science behind the 'test' boosters....
Molinin302I can't believe that was even suggested, c'mon BJ lol. Medications here, no witchcraft.
it was good for a chuckle
AnonGood question. I have no idea. It does make sense women who run gear would benefit from some form of pct to help return to hormonal homeostasis though.
