My doctor
ad
Yesterday, my doctor told me that being my size is not something i can keep doing. He told me i need to grow up and its just not healthy to be that big since i will be approaching 40 in a few years. he told me its just not feaseable to stay that size and not expect health problems.. I was a little pissed when he got on me about this.. what do you guys think? what would you say to your doc if he said that to you?

I'm going to have to agree with finding a new doctor. Like j0n said, I doubt he tells obese, unhealthy people to "grow up". Where does he get the nerve telling that to someone who is focused on their health?
My doctor has always been great about my lifting. He knows my goals, and aside from prescribing AAS he is always helpful in getting me there and treating lifting related pain.
he told you to "grow up?" holy fuck. ask him when the last time he told some fat fuck diabetic to "grow up" because they are too big. he probably has some pussy little conversation about their weight and dieting habits... doubtful he is a dick like he was to you. thats insulting . id find a new doctor
it was actually a sinus doctor that said this to me.. the whole time all he did was complain about me being too big, i do understand how it can affect sleep apnea, but he made it out like im gonna kill myself unless i get smaller..lol
Tell your doctor to keep his opinions to himself. Until your EKG, Bloodwork, or some other medical test proved otherwise than keep training and stay healthy.
Whats your bf%
AnonI would get another doctor lol. My doc has no opinion on what I do he just laugh and says it's a bad idea but doesn't get preachy about it. But he's a cool doc and prescribes me anything except AAS really.
TronI would tell my doc to stop being such a pussy and quit hating on you for being bigger than his scrawny ass!!!
he is scrawny too, im mean really scrawny..lol maybe thats why
Maybe the doc is from the old school where lifting weights is not good for you. I had a pinched nerve in upper back but thought it was something else so went to ortho a few months back. He gave me similar speech saying I was too big, I shouldn't be lifting at my age (42 in 2 weeks) and it was just bad. BS my friend! Number one the more muscle you have the more efficiently your body works. Maybe th ey dont like seeing people in shape because then they dont have to prescribe 5 different meds to them because they are fat pieces of shit. In any event in my opinion as long as your BP, cholesterol, etc are in check you are good. Just my 2 cents
Damn bro. That's the kind of shit I hear in the bedroom not at the doctors office.
Made me chuckle!
1jakd_hipyWhat are your stats? I'd tell him he's fired
