PIP away from pin location
I just did my 3rd pin of my first cycle in my right deltoid wed night. (first two were left and right ventrogluteal) Went in like butter, no pip at all that night. When I woke up Thursday morning there was slight soreness on the outer part of my arm, below the deltoid between the tri and bicep. Its now Saturday and it's red and warm to the touch, the pain hasn't really increased much until my chest workout today, seems like that irritated it so its a little more sore now. I took some ibuprofen and some antibiotics, just in case. I just don't understand why its sore under the deltoid, way below where I pinned. Has anyone else experienced this? Did I not get deep enough into the muscle or could my deltoid just not hold all the test? I still plan on during 1 cc of 250mg/ml test e in my left delt tomorrow but should I be worried about this or just give it some more time?
UPDATE:
So, I ended up being hospitalized tue and wed for cellulitis, it spread all the way past my elbow at its worst but the redness is finally gone as of today, Thursday (pin was last wed) just waiting on some of the swelling and tenderness of the skin to go away. Doc told me not to lift for a week which I won't (lifting definitely irritates it, ik from experience now). I Haven't missed my two scheduled pins since the one that caused this so I still have no idea how this happened as my technique has been exactly the same on all 5 shots of this cycle

the hormone crash out the solution insdie your body causing inflammation and pain nothing to be worrie about it is just pain and will gone soon 3-5 days
If it is stay longer go to ER
mix with another compound try different site warmup it with hair dryer or warm water on syringe it will reduce the pip
Alphamale500How can you be so sure of your diagnosis and tell him "it's nothing to be worried about"? Especially without even seeing the injection site? That's a very irresponsible thing to do! While inflammation and pain can be normal and nothing to worry about, you should never make that call for someone else, unless you're a doctor and have seen the injection site. You should really be more careful when commenting!
An interesting theory, you may even be right.
But What you should have said first is go straight to the ER, then you give your novel the idea about what it is . Plain and simple we are not doctors, always suggest a doctor first then give your opinion and make it known that's all it is.....is an opinion.
I would neg you but, meh you still suggested the ER, just in the wrong context.
I didn’t see your reply until now anyway he was asking if somebody has experience this and I wrote what I have experienced I just gave my own experience the longest I have 5 days in same spot
BTW i will always suggest docs
it is not novel the idea it is my own experience keep novelty to yourself
Take care
Alphamale500You're absolutely correct about Hitman's "diagnosis" above! I seen that you had already corrected him, but I really felt it would be good to also write a comment to really drive the point home!! Shit like that can cost someone their life.

Keep watching it, and if it doesn't get better go to ER! You do need the right antibiotic to fight these things; so you may be taking something that's ineffective. As far as it moving away from the injection site, oil can travel if an injection goes wrong.
Alphamale500That's a good point regarding the right antibiotics to take. Certain antibiotics can be more effective, less effective or not effective at all depending on the exact type of infection.YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SEE A DOCTOR WITH INFECTION SYMPTOMS. For emergency situations, I do however keep a supply of broad spectrum antibiotics such as Augmentin which is amoxicillin based, and Ciprofloxican.
Broad spectrum antibiotics act on the two major bacterial groups, and against a wide range of disease causing bacteria. That's why if you do choose to keep antibiotics on hand at home for an injection type reaction, be sure to choose one that is a broad spectrum antibiotic such as;
Amoxicillin
Augmentin
Ampicillin
Cipro etc...
Very good point+
Alphamale500Do you have experience injecting into your delts? If you don't know exactly where to inject, this can be an issue. You may have injected into the wrong area or didn't go deep enough like you said. Well, the ibuprofen should help with any inflammation issues, but starting antibiotics might have been too early of a call. I'd definitely avoid pinning in that arm for a while! If it feels warm to the touch, then I would place an ice pack on the area, not heat. Good luck with everything bro!
Another possibility, is that you slept in a way that put pressure on your Deltoid with unabsorbed fluid in it. The restult that it moved down or was forced into a location of less pressure, the insertion point of the muslce causing more pip, due to crystalized test closer to the tendon. It's happened to all of us. IBU and a Heating Pad will help in recovery. Wait at least 2 weeks before pinning that location again.
For future reference be aware that you now have a pocket in the muscle that will direct fluid down that direction if you pin the same exact location. Move the needle a couple cm in any direction from where you pinned to avoid the same PIP in the future.
Hmm maybe that was it. It was my wed night pin and went to sleep shortly after it.
This has happened to me. What are you pinning? It’s only happened to me with prop. Not sure what happened but it went away in a couple days. I’d say if it’s bad and is getting worse then go to the ER, but if it’s mild and not bothering you much, give it a few days. If it gets worse every day then go, if it gets better every day then leave it. Not sure what it’s about but I’ve definitely had it happen once or twice. Specifically in the delt. Prolly just not deep enough
1 cc 250mg test e. I'll give it a few days, its pretty mild, just thought it was weird how it was so far down from where I pinned. So when it happened to you how long before it cleared up? If you can remember
Like 3-5 days tops.
RustyhookerPin length? Sounds like you missed. Hot pad
1 inch 25 gauge, followed the 30 sec per mil rule. I left a couple centimeters of the needle visible just in case it broke, kinda paranoid about that lol . Using a heat pad now.
have you ever bent the needle? they are pretty flexible... not prone to breaking ... it sounds like it really wasn't deep enough and it ended sub q.. I've had quad injections where I really jacked it up and the oil ended up traveling ...
RustyhookerI too inject slow...30 seconds or more. Might of had some oil go subq. Hot pad. If it gets worse then obviously...your B12 SHOT was funky. But sub q can irtitate surrounding areas.
I'll keep injecting slow, gonna just get some help this time, injecting delts alone make for aweird angle. This better not be B12 lol. I'll find out mid bloods I guess. I already over ordered. Was planning on a 12 week test e cycle, with a test p kicker and taper, realized pinning eod was too much for me so I have 3 vials of it just sitting around.
RustyhookerB12....thats so IF you go to er that you dont lose your health insurance injecting illegal drugs. Whether its b12 or steroids the care for abscess etc is the same. But why rish losing insurance...?
Prop can be a chore for newer folks. Its nice to just keep it simple. Maybe var last 6 weeks to pct or provi. Food and gym is the real key. Bloods so e2 is in good range.
Ohhh. That went right over my head. Never even would've thought twice about that.
Still might use the prop as a taper, hopefully I'll be more comfortable pinning by then. Definitely getting my bloods done mid cycle as well to check my e2, I was within standard range pre ploods but on the high end so I guess that means I may be estrogen prone? Have aromasin on hand. Im doing 12.5 ed at the moment.
RustyhookerHigh end is still normal. What week are you on? E2 is needed to grow and be healthy. Its when it gets too high that sides pop up.
2nd week as of last night. First pin was the 17. Started the aromasin the 24th.
RustyhookerYou might crash that e2 and ruin a good cycle. Low e2...no grow.
There is no 30 second rule. Just inject it. What happened is you didnt go deep enough and it traveled down or you went in sideways. Put the whole needle in. I even press it right to the skin to make sure it's in the muscle.
So what happens if you do a sub q injection of test, does that cause an abscess? Is it still absorbed by the body or is it wasted? I thought the slower the injection = lower chances of PIP
Tell that to my doctor. He uses an 18 gauge and acts like it's a race. When he does I see zero oil come back out and very little blood. Pip is pip. You can inject fast or you can inject for 20 minutes you will get it. Not all the time but you will. Give it time. Sub q is not the same as intra muscular.
Noted... 18 gauge? Lol fuuuck that. I know the difference between sub q and intra muscular, was just wondering what the consequences of doing an accidental sub q injection of test would be, if any.
No consequences of sub q some trt clinics are going more sub q these days I tried sub q and it fucking sucked it would leave small welts IM is best
Bro just put the needle in at the right angle, go all the way in, n push the oil out however you feel you like, fast or slow, it sounds like poor angle is the culprit.
As stated should go away, if redness or hot to touch spreads go to ER, also may look into have some antibiotics on hand for future issues as a “just in case”
Good luck man
Im going to have some help this time, I think it was the angle. Antibiotics on hand already, seems to be getting better today.
There will be no difference in the effectiveness of the test.
