TRT and non Hodgekins Lymphoma

ad

Hello yall,

I have a friend who is currently suffering from non Hodgekins lymphoma. I have heard in the past of doctors prescribing test to help cancer patients maintain muscle mass and quality of life while dealing with the suffering. He has lost alot of weight but is still a faily muscular man as he has a very good genetic build and lifted for many years.

Does anyone know much about the subject? I wanted to find some info before talking to him about it because I think he would react very well to testosterone and he is dying already...

Yep it is his choice, I would consult the Dr.

I personally would burn some bowls eat a couple bags of Doritos and watch the Cartoon Network.

That's what he does haha. I talked to him about the benefits it could provided him if done by a doctors supervision. Hes gonna ask his doc. Thanks for all the advice guys.

See MD. He/she should know. HIV/AIDS pts use too. Know 1 guy who was on test and diabinol and really beefed him up and he felt better. Quality

A friend of mine, his father had cancer...not certain which, maybe prostate. He was provided HGH & TRT... it assisted with quality of life for a time.
No doubt chemo will destroy hormones...
With that said, this is Q&A for a doc...depending on the doc & your buddies medical situation, doc may be agreeable...
Not wise for your boy to self medicate.

Best thing your boy can do...research like crazy on nutrition. Keto diet, Gerson Therapy, Veggie Juicing...etc

Prob not Prostate if he got test as it causes it to grow and spread. But so interesting for that type of patient. Ty

Not an enlargement “problem” if prostate is removed...
This may have been scenario... he was in an advanced stage, chose quality of life for as long as his body allowed...and cancer took over...
I am not certain of what precisely he was taking...could have been one or both... point is some docs will give patient the option

Definitely no self medication in this case. There are far more modern methods available!

Oh yeah not self medication lol... I dont want to make him worse! Was just wondering if anyone knew anything on the subject so he could ask his doctor about it. Sorry that's NOT what I meat guys. Was looking for some data maybe?

Im not playing doctor lol... Just thinking of ways to help my best friend guys... Whatever could make his life better ya know? Help him stay strong as long as he can. You guys think it would be worth him asking his doctor? Hes only 28 guys... He is the one who showed me the gym and he use to be so strong and big and healthy..

Absolutely ask his doctor! Don't take my comment wrong way. As a nurse I see death regularly and I'm sorry your friend is going through this. Can't hurt to ask

I wouldn’t play Dr. on that one.
