-2 Testosterone for life?

ad

After reading a few threads like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/steroids/co...started_doing/

I am interested in AAS usage, particularly for life. Money is not an issue.
Even if muscular gains do stall, wouldn't the psychological benefits be worth it enough?

I already take 20mg EOD low-dose Accutane and never plan on getting off it. So acne will not be a problem.

Oh...yeah...stats
Training naturally on and off NOT seriously 3-4 years.
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 160 pounds
Max bench: 225
Max deadlift: 315
Max squat: 245
Mile time: 6.5 mins
BF: 17%
Not "great" stats by any means I KNOW

Hormone stats:
I ran a Aromasin only solo trial for a few months and have some interesting results:
Before Aromasin:
Test: 477 ng/dL
Free Test: 13.1 pg/mL
Estrogens: 149 pg/mL (High)
I had another test done to confirm the high estrogen flag and it came back normal.

Fast forward: Results after Aromasin 12.5mg ED run for a few months:
Test: 695 ng/dL
Free Test: 21.5 pg/mL
Estrogen: Don't have # but it was much lower though not too low
My test and especially my free test rose quite a bit.
I only stopped the experiment because I ran out lol and didn't really notice a whole lot besides moderate strength gains and MAJOR acne!! Oily slick mess! Yuck!
Eventually I had to jump on Accutane because of it. I have not restarted Aromasin since.

Okay so back to the topic discussion.
Concerns with acne? Accutane
Concerns with estrogen? Aromasin
Concerns with testicular atrophy? HCG
Concerns with cardiovascular system? Curcumin injections (bypass horrendous oral bioavailability). Some bodybuilders actually inject curcumin and claim it helps with scar tissue buildup around injection sites.
Concerns with DHT (Baldness/enlarged prostate)? Again, Curcumin injections or Finasteride
Concerns with libido? PT-141

I mean what else am I missing here? I understand this is a lot of extra crap I probably would have to take but I don't care. I already have the Accutane and I already underwent gyno surgery, so that won't ever come back. I have no family history of baldness. I already eat somewhat healthy and have reasonable macronutrient intake ratios. Sure, I'll continue pursuing a better physique, but it's the mental effects I sought more.

The financial cost of all this isn't even that much. My limit is anywhere between $400-600 monthly. Shit, I could even throw in HGH in there and keep it below 600.

What's wrong?

Makwa's picture

Hellbent on ruining a perfectly good HPTA. SMFH

MToption2's picture

Lol on hellbent. Can I ask why running with proper dosages of hCG, hMG, and Aromasin wouldn't protect my HTPA in case I want to safely hop off this experiment?

kibby's picture

You do realise that even with a full perfect pct you are not guaranteed to bounce back.

Doing what your thinking about doing GREATLY increases the chance of this happening

MToption2's picture

Oh crap. Well okay. My plan was to keep Test going indefinitely as long as hCG/hMG/Aromasin/Clomid prevented any shutdown/atrophy. You are saying there is absolutely no way to keep your testicles shielded from steroids? Has there been any reports where taking all these failed?

kibby's picture

Not 100%
It would be a gamble just like a pct is.

Look if your looking for someone to tell you its a good idea you ain't going to see that hear because it's not a good idea.

Take the advice given mate

MToption2's picture

Oh no. I'm mostly grasping at straws here. You guys have way more experience than me with this stuff. So I have no doubt your input is valid. Thanks.

Makwa's picture

The longer you are shut down the greater the chance of never recovering. HCG, HMG, ABC, DEF, aromasin, what ever you want to take isn't going to protect your HTPA.

MToption2's picture

Are there any anecdotes where a responsible steroid user took hCG, hMG, Aromasin, and Clomid appropriately and still ended up shutdown? It's just that soooooo many people fail with proper updated PCT procedures during a cycle and coming off one.

waterhead235's picture

Fix your stats. There is no fucking way you are 50 years old. My guess is you are under 22 years old. This has got to be the worst thought out "idea" I've seen posted in a while.

MToption2's picture

You're right. Not 50 years old or under 22. Please explain why this is a bad idea.

waterhead235's picture

You are proposing to destroy your endocrine system because you are fucking lazy. Period. That is the problem, you are fucking lazy. Your natural test levels are completely normal and you won't gain anything from using steroids. You don't have the body you want because you are lazy. Steroids aren't muscles in a bottle kiddo, you won't gain shit until you get off your ass and hit the gym.

MToption2's picture

My endocrine system will still be destroyed if I use it alongside an AI and hcg/hmg? Again, muscle gains isn't priority #1 for me. I am comfortable having an average body.

waterhead235's picture

Please explain why you want to use steroids for the rest of your life.

MToption2's picture

My goal is to have a slight boost in masculinity traits (confidence, assertiveness, energy, etc). Super hardcore dieting and training will not help me in this department. Have you noticed any mental effects during a proper cycle? Some people say big change, others slight, others nothing.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like the users who fail and destroy their endocrine systems as you say are the ones that don't run with any AI and hCG. I have yet to see a user crash and burn while using properly dosed pharma grade AI and hCG. I'm sorry but the widely touted Nolva and Clomid don't seem to work as effectively. Now, if there are ways to avoid most known AAS side effects given todays knowledge, why bother cycling off? A shot of Curcumin seems to prevent any potential cardiovascular and DHT (prostate) issues.

MToption2's picture

Been there done that years ago. Was training hard and eating clean throughout high school and college. One of my big questions was how steroids made someone mentally feel on cycle. The answer still appears to be mixed. I'm also wondering if it'll increase appetite. My muscle gains have stalled since I've been at maintenance calories for a couple years now. It's just been a very slow recomp.

IrishMack's picture

Not sire why I keep double posting, on my phone maybe why

IrishMack's picture

Lol boost in masculinity. If you are a pussy ass bitch taking aas will not make that go away you will still be the same thing. If you suffer from low self esteem, go get a therapist. It is not a personality changer or a miracle fkn potion. I just dont understand where the thinking comes from, you want to grow more hair and get a deeper voice then start smoking and spray rogaine all over yourself. Or you can pay me and Ill train you to be a real man. You need professional help that a needle will not provide you son.

MToption2's picture

Lol it's always funny the level of hypocrisy coming from some bodybuilders. You guys can pin all you want because of body dysmorphia but the moment someone else says they want to be more alpha. They get chastised and thrown names.

Tell me, do you drink alcohol? What about coffee? Yes? Wow you might be a pussy ass bitch for needing a crutch to get through the day. You need to be a huge muscular person to feel satisfied? Wow low self esteem. It goes both ways dude...
I don't have depression or anxiety or anything like that. Life just has been meh...somewhat boring. My ambitions have always been high compared to most people around me but it's my passivity I want to reduce. I want to be more aggressive. And after reading lots of personal stories on how AAS made them feel on cycle...it sounds appealing.
Oops, my very first post I linked wasn't done right. Here are some peoples review of AAS: https://www.reddit.com/r/steroids/comments/4vzdy2/how_did_your_life_chan...

But regardless, thanks for sharing how it affected you.

MToption2's picture

You sir are a silly man. That Reddit post is NOT mine. Never claimed it was. That is a woman LOL. I was 195 5 foot 8 inches at my peak in training. Now years later, it's 160.

IrishMack's picture

I dont drink or do drugs, I am a trt patient, I am not a bodybuilder either I am a powerlifter with over 18%bf. I was alpha before I ever started training. I have no self esteem issues or fear of rejection because I dont give a shit. I am not the best looking guy either but I make up for it with whats called charm. You are passive, aas will not change that. I went on hrt because I was getting overweight and lost my libido. Without I will still be alpha and still not give a shit. I will just not want to bang and I lose my motivation. I was the guy in school that took your lunch money to prove a point but gave half of it back out of pity. I was the guy that was bullied like you except I got tired of it and fought back. Nothing you take will make you anything you arent already, aas will make you more of an asshole if you are one to begin with but you dont have to worry about that. But go ahead and take it, after a few months of you feeling alpha go ahead and challenge someone, you will still get your ass handed to you and the women will still turn you down. Deal with your personal issues normally before you hurt yourself physically and emotionally. Thanks for the link, but this is the internet and half of those people posting are more then likely full of shit and we have no way of proving the truth.

MToption2's picture

For the quick record, just because I want to be a little more aggressive, don't assume I was the bullied kid or the guy women rejected. LOL. Ok whatever you say. I'm not getting into a pissing contest with you about who pulled more women or got into fights.

Regardless, thanks again for sharing that. Soooo, were you ever on a traditional test cycle? Or am I hearing it correctly that you've been natural for most of your life and have only been on standard trt prescribed dosages?

waterhead235's picture

Go over to the trt section of this site and do some reading. You will quickly see that being on test for the rest of your life isn't all it's cracked up to be. If I could go back 4 years I would have never even done my first cycle, much less decide to self administer trt for the last 3 years.

Pale's picture

I don't know if I would go quite that far but I would say I am 50% there. I don't regret the way I feel or look but knowing I am on until the end if I want to maintain a good quality of life is a big weight.

MToption2's picture

A lots changed since I started this thread. I posted this thread on another forum too and got much more feedback. I decided to hold back for a few more months. I will be experimenting with a long term cycle though. There is no evidence of hCG desensitization. There is no evidence for testosterone desensitization. There is no difference between recovering from a 3 month or 2 year cycle. When the gains do stall from steroids, it means I would've reached the limit or my diet/training isn't yet fully optimized. Instead of adding 20-30 lbs of LBM naturally over the next 30 years. I will shortcut that to hopefully 1-2 years through a single Test cycle. Get off. Recover and maintain. If I recover 100%, I should only lose enough muscle to reach my old natural genetic potential. If I end up losing too much because of permanent low-t levels. It's TRT time. I acknowledge the risks. But the way I have my cycle planned puts the odds in my favor.

The biggest issue I see in your post isP "Training naturally on and off NOT seriously 3-4 years." then: "Height: 5'8"
Weight: 160 pounds"

Next: "I ran a Aromasin only solo trial for a few months and have some interesting results"

And: " I already eat somewhat healthy and have reasonable macronutrient intake ratios"

Steroids are not a magic pill that will = awesome physique with 3 days half assing it in the gym and sorta trying to eat healthy. They only work well if you're busting ass in all other phases of training. You randomly decided to run aromasin for however long as an experiment? You only get one body and idk about you but I don't look at it as my playground, since you know I'd like to enjoy this world for awhile before I turn into fertilizer for the grass. I'm just barely above 5 feet, I say I'm 5'3" but that's pushing it half an inch. I made it to 165 and 14% BF with 4 days of training no problem, you should be able to hit 180-190 no problem naturally. The psychological benefits are minimal in my opinion, but I've always had a level head. If you're dealing with some sort of emotional instability then maybe see a doc? The same applies if you think you have the oh so common "I'm suffering from low test symptoms." I'm now sure if this is a troll post but if not I suggest you do at least 6 months of research on here and google scholar before you continue contemplating your master plan. In the meantime I would focus on getting more serious about training and eating right. Download a calorie tracker app and figure out your diet first.

MToption2's picture

I appreciate the response. Now, muscular gains are NOT that important to me anymore. I am emotionally stable and I do not suffer from low test. Years ago, I was at 195 naturally but at ~25% BF (Guessing; didn't get this tested). So I was pretty fat and my mile time lagged to 8.5 mins. At that point in my life I was lifting 6 days a week (~6 months like that). While my diet was very high in protein, my carb intake was as well so there's that...hehe. And I know the sacrifices and struggle it can be to diet, I was on a Keto for a few months. I even blended up chicken and drank that for a while! Now, the only "crazy" thing I consume is 3-4 raw eggs blended into my morning smoothie. I've been doing this for a few weeks.
Anyways, Aromasin isn't a steroid. I don't see how it could ever cause any physiological damage. Lab values suggested I would possibly benefit from an AI. So I tried it...

"The psychological benefits are minimal in my opinion". This was what I wanted to hear. From what I've been reading over the years, that seems to be the opinion of half of users experiences.

I don't need 6 months of research. After working the bulk of 2016 at ~60hrs/week, I am finally unemployed. So these past few days, I've had a lot of free time to research. My goal is to have a slight boost in my masculinity (confidence, assertiveness, facial features, energy, etc). Super hardcore dieting and training will not help me in this department.
The kind of lifestyle you bodybuilders live, I don't want that. I just want to look good with my shirt off. I don't mind NOT being the biggest mofo in the room.

MToption2's picture

Please explain

tzelukie's picture

Disagree. Sorry mate. You make no sense. Not a lot of goals. Only questions.

MToption2's picture

TLDR: Want to be on AAS for life. Want more "alphaness" traits. Side effects can be tamed. Thoughts?

giants59's picture

You can't run Accutane forever. That's very dangerous. I only needed a 5 month run of Accutane @ 35mg-80mg (slowly increasing each month) and I had severe acne. I've been clear for years.

Owes a Review × 1 In a promo × 1
Drago's picture

Agreed. I was on accutane for a few years and it fucked me up. Turned out all I needed was anti anxiety drugs to get rid of stress which in turned got rid of my acne.

MToption2's picture

I know some people running low doses for decades. I was on a high dose like you several years ago. Even now with 20mg EOD I suspect it's too high so once I clear up 100%, I'm going to cut back to 20mg twice weekly as a maintenance dose. Also, many celebrities do this..
