New and have Low T questions

ad

Hi everyone, new here and came across this while researching low testosterone a few months ago. I believe I may have low t an finally getting to where I'm ready to get to the bottom of it. I have been taking high blood pressure meds for about 3 years now which can cause low T. In my line of work and the symptoms I been facing, it's making it extremely hard to get through the day. These symptoms I'm having are depression, joint pain, low sex drive and premature ejaculation lethargy and lack of motivation. And have gained a lot of weight in the past couple of years since I got out the military which could just be due to lack of working out. I found it rather expensive at any men's clinics where I'm from for low T. Called 3 places and they want 200 plus for consultation and testing for Low T and 50 bucks an injection if I need them. Are there any places online that have cheaper T level testing or does anyone know of any places in the Southwest TN area for cheaper?

Your symptoms are really very similar to T deficiency. All what I can suggest for is to read this article https://www.hgh.biz/cost-of-testosterone-therapy/, there discribed fresh information about the cost of testosterone replacement therapy.

First of all I think you put way too much personal info on here. Second, you should see a doc. Self-prescribed trt is not a good idea buddy, especially since you have some health issues such as high bp. You don't even know if it's low T bc you never got tested. Trt requires frequent blood work etc. You can do more harm than good to your body. Test can raise your estro, affect your lipid profile and basically your whole body. Focus on finding a good doctor. Good luck

Yeah maybe a little lengthy post So sorry. And that's all I'm asking is for an online source to Test My T levels or a local one that is cheaper than $200. Not self prescribing anything but have good reason to believe this is what is wrong with me. Once tested, and if it is what is wrong with me, then I'll take it from there. I've read the risks of trt and know it does cause heart problems as well as a slew of other thing but high blood pressure is also not an uncommon cause of Low T. But the way I feel right now, if low T is the problem, trt's benefits outweigh the risk IMO. Thank you for the response

Lenght is not the problem but content. Read this please

I was under the impression that you wanted to skip the doc and do it yourself by listetning to some "internet gurus". I'm glad you are aware of the seriousenes of trt. +1 for that.

Unfortunately can't help you find what you are looking for as I'm far, far away from you. Goid luck to you and I really hope you'll find solution to your problem.

Thanks brother, I'll edit the other BS out for sure. Talked to a facility earlier that actually does $50 consult with T testing. There has been clinics here that have been telling patients they need trt when in fact they do not just for profit. Sooo once I get the test done I'll post lab test results and get opinions here. I read for a male my age test levels should be no less than 400.

I know which clinics you are talking about. They often have deals on groupon so sometimes I go there just to check my levels but yes, their focus is on sucking money out of your pockets. Regular endo might give you a hard time with trt if you levels are above 200. It would be great if you could get some insurance or find a place and getbthe fool physical. The symptoms you are describing could be caused by a lot of different things.

Have you considered getting bloods done through private MD labs? This could give you an indicator whether it's low test or not. It sounds like you may be on a budget or trying to at least not have to shell out loads of cash. If your results come back low then you know and have reason to move forward with investing the money with a Dr to get it done right.

Yes I've searched some local medical testing facilities and prices are outrageous. I seen a few labs here on ER but same problem in cost almost, maybe a little cheaper and require CC which I don't have. Like I said I'm laid off right now and a single dad so budget is extremely tight. I've heard of ppl I serve with get free consults which include testing but none around me. And yes if Low T is my problem then I will go forward with a doctor once back working and get insurance back up and going!
